No, the Medicom guys come bagged w/header, traditional sofubi style. I shared the graphic of the Takara cardback to note the similarity in the sculpt. As an example of the front and back,

Weeeeird. I don't really remember that Catwoman suit at all and I lived through that era.

If Medicom continues this line, I hope they do so with Japanese vinyl

Welp, looks like both lines died. :(
    Such a bummer.
I still hope to grab some of the Star Wars ones. I haven’t had much luck sadly.

That is unfortunate news, but I had guessed as much. Unfortunately I think it was just lack of awareness and marketing that cause any failure of this line. That, and quire possible (and unsurprising) potential license pulling by the Mouse. Combining those excellent properties with quality soft vinyl ( honestly don't care in the slightest if these are Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.) is just a perfect match. I guess my hopes of holding out for more characters can be shelved; and well, any hunting for the previous releases.

The Star Wars line was ok. I felt the Marvel and DC were filled with bland generic sculpts and basic masked paint jobs, nothing too exciting. But they are still all over Amazon and can probably be picked up in the 20-30 dollar range.

I got the Ghost Rider, really nice head sculpt , but it deffo would have been nicer on quality vinyl instead of the dull matt..I feel it was a waste of a sculpt tbh.
But I shouldnt really moan cos it was only a tenner.

I'm a big fan of the hero line, as my previous posts probably make clear --- I'm not in love with all the sculpts, (you can keep your McFarlane/Liefied toys, etc), but each has individual detailing that suits their specific character well, and the generically tubby Bullmarkish overall styling delights me to no end. As for the paints, the fact that they were based on Mego's take on late Silver/early Bronze Age comics pleases me to my very core!

    Yep. Big fan.

Exactly my feelings. I really wish this was going on still. I have a handful of them and love them all.

Ha I love it! I’m with you as usual! I actually have them all. ( even the 90s ones I wasn’t crazy to buy but they’re so cheap I couldn’t resist.) I can see how they’re not everyone’s favorite sculpts, some did bug me a little. But I’m a sucker for everything you said as well. They packaging job alone was genius.
Also I feel there’s lots of charm in their clunky carvings.
I can’t tell you how much I hoped for just a few more to be released to round out the groups. Wonder Woman’s hips would be a sight to behold! Ha!

Most of the DC ones look terrible except for Joker, Penguin and Swamp Thing. The rest look like fat fucks that have eaten to much cake and are about to blow up lmao.

Now most of the Marvel ones look decent. I think I'll pick up both deadpool and the clear vision soon. Might nab one this week from my local comic book shop. Iv seen them displayed for awhile now.

Nothing wrong with loving cake! Haha!
They’re all so cheap now I think you can’t lose. Swampthing and Hulk are really BIG chunks of vinyl! I love this line dead or not!!
