It's got a fair amount of glow on the left arm and top of the head, but its mixed thoroughly with the blue... What really surprised me was that the parts that are glow have a matte finish while the blue is very glossy. It gives it a very cool surface finish and the marbling really looks more like marble and less like a swirl (which is also cool)
Finally moved all the Salvations to there own shelves to make room for 4 new arrivals (1 tomorrow and 3 in January)
Has anyone ever put a rebel head on a pirate body? I'm sure it's been done before if not for an actual release yet.. I think I'd like this more,, give it less of a cholo thug vibe
Thanks I had some Arcylic steps bent up my a local plastic company. 50mm height, 70mm depth with 3 tiers just for my Rebels.
A group of friends pitched in and picked this guy up for me as an early birthday present. Super grateful and pretty stoked on it!
Thanks, dude. That, I do! I love that setup. It's simple, but stands out so well with how they contrast each other. Looks great!
I love that blue obake dog. I've only seen it in like two collections. I should not have given up on searching. Such a great looking toy.
I'd love to see your guys' Dog collections. Not only my favorite Secret Base sculpt, but my favorite toy overall. I think I'm at 24 Dogs now.
I agree too, Secret Base at its finest. Besides Madballs, ODs always reminded me of Hino (especially the black rub version).
Hino? Really I never got that. It's been posted in threads but it reminds me of a homage to snoopy (feet/body) and madballs. That's what always made it so fun to see.
Yeah I agree with you for sure. It's basically just Aargh from Madballs on a Snoopy body. There might be a lot of color ways that are a homage to something else but the sculpt itself is pretty straight forward. Def my favorite of the SB toys as well.
