A Slime Wave is breaking on Scottsdale. From the reels of classic cartoons and pages of popular comics, colorful mash-ups emerge from the ooze. This collection of work meddles with the archetypes and wildernesses in contemporary and vintage animation. The show features new sculpture, painting, and hand made merchandise from valley artist Andrew Hadle. The artist glues together narratives to reveal similarities and punctuate symbols of heroism, magic, and mirth. Slime Wave pours a heady dose of mutated icons and sticky situations. Slime Wave is Andrew Hadle's solo exhibition at Squeeze Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ Reception is Oct 7, 2010. 7-10 pm Squeeze Gallery is owned and operated by Emmett Potter and Kristin Bauer http://www.squeezegallery.com

Glad you dig them. I think they rule! All of them are hand sculpted and coated with fiberglass and resin. The whole show turned out amazing!
