Saw it a couple days ago, quite entertaining. I'm really not a very big fan of Chinese / HK movies, but my friends & I all enjoyed it.
Oh, I wasn't aware this was the new film from Pang Ho-Cheung - just read up a bit & can't wait to see it.
Been waiting a long time for this. Some of the humor looks a bit low brow but I still expect a lot of chuckles. I think this might be a bit more of an "inside" Chinese film then most as it has to do with film business in HK (right?). I might go Sat evening SGV. Got around this week to Love in the Buff (to drawn out. Lacked the wreckless abandon of the first) and All's Well, Ends Well 2012 (goofy fun but sweet). Should we start a Chinese, or Asian film thread? ps How was the Thai vengeance film?
Bangkok Revenge was fun! I liked the backstory - how/why he became obsessed. But some of the best scenes were in the trailer. Def should start an asian film thread. There are a lot of awesome events and festivals popping up all over. Found this on Vulgaria - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH0I7qhQgvU
I saw it at an advance screening. It's just too hilarious. Check it out! Handjob video game..... lol! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =1&theater
very funny! Wish I could understand it in mandarin! I heard the English subtitles tamed it down. Is that true ? Pop candy will never be the same- lol.
Didn't make it. To much driving already this weekend. Watched the Norwegian movie "Fuck UP" instead. Any good previews shown?
Got there 2 late for the previews, but I think there are a few good flims opening before the end of the year.
