Thank you, @bryce_r. Truth be told, Kirkland is my original inspiration for even wanting to delve into light box photos. I"d spent many a night, hours and hours, attempting to mimic the magic he created with his images. However, something THAT good cannot not be emulated, only imitated. And I can at least say his impeccable efforts and contributions have inspired me to come into, what I'd like to consider, my own style of visuals. Kirkland is still undefeated in my eyes.
Dang that red kraken is nice. Sometimes I wish I didn't stop collecting. Picking up what I been missing is such a pain
Anyone bag today's Microman-inspired releases? I went for the yellow/light orange. For an agonizing minute I weighed whether to buy the smoke as well, but decided against it. That gunmetal chromed head is a real standout, though. Interested to see how the chrome vinyl will hold up, as I haven't owned any of the new wave of chrome toys that have released over the last few years. The polyp heads also don't seem to be pictured here--maybe there are none this time.
My chrome mockbats have help up well so far even with moving the heads/tongues. I think it’s a different/stronger formulation than, say, SB past releases
Check the product descriptions again... "Includes Polyp and alternate fist part that can be exchanged with heat applied." You should be good. Enjoy.
