Two recent guys. I simply didn't understand the hype around Goro until seeing it in-hand, where the size, texture and proportions all clicked wonderfully. It's really one of those inexplicable things, a toy that for whatever reason strikes me as perfect. It seems many others have felt the same over the years.

Honestly surprised I haven't seen more people talking about this itty bitty beauty from Sunguts: The "Good Harvest Fish"
The photos from Japan I was seeing weren't always the best. So, I couldn't tell if the vinyl was clear with metallic sprays on the inside, or if it was that really fine glitter vinyl (which I feel is more of a metallic powder, and prefer it a lot more than the regular sized "craft" glitter). Turns out it was still hard to be certain even when looking right it . I finally opened the head just to make sure I was right, it was green metallic powder suspended in what can best be described as an iridescent smoke vinyl.
I have literally never seen vinyl like this before. And these photos can't really capture it, but the vinyl is just so unusual the way it absorbs light. Again, I mean the smokey iridescent vinyl NOT the green glitter.
The "Good Harvest Fish" is based on the creature depicted in this painting from Edo Period (inspiration for another famous Japanese big boy maybe?).

Also, Y&G Int. has the most random little releases through One-up sometimes. And this was a big winner for me: Dark Shadow & Face Octopus

Hot Hawaiian Sour Lemon. Photos don’t do it justice. The pink vinyl is epic. Looking forward to seeing what other classic colour ways are planned.

Got mine today from the post and was outside when I opened the box. That pink almost fried my eyes, so nice! It’s like highlighter pink and it does not disappoint

@Kerk1 I saw that version at a friend’s house, first time holding the toy as well, and it’s so fun and impressive! Neck and dual head articulation brings a lot of charm!

Had a pretty fun mail day myself. Comin’ home from an out of state wedding trip, these were great to open up.

Got a couple PK goodies in the mail recently. I've been admiring Big Salamander Joe since I watched it being sculpted on Instagram. When I saw a bubblegum pink blank go up for sale I had to grab it. It's even cooler in hand...Sally is BIG! The details on its back are especially surprising & rad! Here is a quick iPhone shot, I'll free Popo from his bag soon!

Got my blank sally in the mail over the weekend as well!

Super excited to have this chunky boi at the center of my budding PK blanks shelf. Love it. This toy is the best this year. So much fun to play with.

(sorry, I don’t know how to add pics here anymore, halp!)

yeah. I meant from my phone. Somehow uploading straight from there. I’ll just use my laptop to add the pics when I have a chance.

When I'm on my phone, I click on the browser option to view the imagur upload page in desktop mode. Then it will show up and let me upload. Once the photo uploads, I long press on the photo and select open image in new tab to get the photo url from the address field in the new tab. This is on Android. May be an easier way, but this is what I figured out.

My Super7 mini Shogun arrived after a month, along with the latest from Cojica. Couldn't say no to this fresh spin on Ankeron, which really sings with the help of some subtle bronze-gold sprays along the edges of the sculpt. My one nit is that the magnet on the bathysphere is a little weaker on this one than the original release, so I'll probably display it sitting down. Otherwise exceptional quality and feel per usual.

The Shogun Godzilla turned out to be the surprise star of the show, though. I haven't found a shelf spot for it even after a couple of days, because I'm constantly carrying it around the house.
