Well this one is really, really hitting me hard. His art had a huge and wonderful impact on my heart and mind, growing up. My whole family loved Pee-wee.

Another irreplaceable, legendary creative force of good lost.

I loved Pee-Wee. I grew up on his show and found it to be incredibly charming, funny, and sophisticated as an adult. I guess I'm entering the period of my life when my heroes all begin to die. Very sad indeed.

Never would have guessed he was born in 53.

Pee Wee's Playhouse was stupid in the best way possible. Most of my all time favorite shows have a high stupid factor.

Just watched Peewee’s Big Holiday on Netflix for the 10th time. It still holds up on the 10th viewing. Peewee was a huge inspiration to me as a kid and an influence as a toy collecting adult. RIP Peewee.
