Just started a new blog. Check it out for pics, info, etc about Cronic, Max Toy, Gargamel, etc.

A lot of the focus will be on Cronic toys.

I've started the blog off with a bang, with pics of the Max Toy X Cronic exclusives as well as the header cards and giclee print designed by Mark Nagata. I think it's the first time the Dorogami header and Xam X Maverasu giclee have been shown on the Net.

    Anyway, hope you like it:

Nope, but now that you mention it... 8)

Thanks for the well wishes, folks. Fortunately the recent heavy rains are over, so I should be able to head out and take some nice pics in the sun.

@andy If you happen to drop by again, thanks for all the work you put into Kaiju Korner over the years. I was doing some research on an old Le Merde custom and found him on one of your posts. I remember at the time drooling over all those beauties that were out of my reach back then. I did a lot of vicarious participation in the shows you covered and documented so well. Glad to have this in the archives of soft vinyl history!

That blog is loaded with so much good intell.
The last time I saw Andy was at the Mandarakefest in 2019. But he wasn't going inside because you had to pay to get in (it was cheap). So I don't think it's coming back anytime soon. I think he just lost interest. Thankfully not lost so much that he cares to take down the old blog.
AND Toybot's old blog is still up as well, that also has a load of good old fashioned coverage.

Kirkland and Toybot Studios is the sole reason for being inspired to do the photos I do, and why I put so much time and passion(damn near obsession) that I do. Sites and blogs like these are paramount to maintaining the history and information. The time and selflessness that goes into what’s provided for collectors and artists is beyond generous.

Awww, I really thought he was back!
For me that only have a few years in the hobby is KK so valuable together with this forum (Toybot as well). The blog lets me travel back in time with all the well documented events. I really hope it stays up as a document over the hobby and past times. The amount of time and information he put in to KK is beyond impressive.
