I could have been crazy but as I spoke to mr. pushead at SDCC 06 someone walked up and asked about these Zorlac reissue decks and shirts. He was not very happy about it at all. Maybe david M can clear this up.

Check out the book, Disposable by Sean Cliver. Pushead has a chapter dedicated to his skate art and he goes into his relationship with the original owner of Zorlac. Basically, the original owner stopped paying royalties, then sold the company.

The original owner has bought back Zorlac and is doing all those reissues. It's anyones guess if Pushead is getting paid or not.

That is such a great book! it has my first real deck in it... I just went to look it up, the Justin Girard New Deal deck on page 202, that I bought solely for the Barry McGee graphic. It was acutally my second choice, my first 1st choice on the wall that day was the Jaya Bonderov Santa Cruz deck on page 168, but I was 12 and my dad said my mom would make me take it back

Any oldtimers got a line on SF's finest, Fogtown Skateboards? I had a Board to Death and rode the Van Gogh. I guess MoFo from Thrasher was the artist in charge for them. My favorite skate shop ever.

my favourite board which i ride 75% of the time..

an uncle wiggley argyle deck with motobilt 175 trucks and city streets wheels...

city streets are one of the best things to come out of sf...this set of wheels are 22years old & are still in perfect shape!!!...no coning...

mind that they are too soft for slides...but they handle the grubby london streets & brickwork like a charm ;)

The memory is starting to fail - isn't it?

Amazing decks today. "back in the day" though - I don't think Zorlac (aside from their graphics) were seen as anything to write home about in terms of shape or quality. So...Unfortunately I never bought any.

I'd love to have the Big Boy's deck(s) today though for sure. That's one band that deserves MUCH MORE fanfare then they seem to get. Anybody feel me?

Dude where the fuck did you get a set of city streets they were the first wheels i ever rode on my alva santa monica and black gullwings ;P

And I'm suprised about how much shine the big boys do get. But then again I am shocked that people have thoroughly cataloged every band in every hardcore scene of the early 80s. I've found mp3's of bands that most of my homies cant even remember... OCD says what?
