I got a replay to an email from tokyocube:

"Fewmany will accept/decline all remaining requests, in order, very shortly."

Looks like I'm gonna miss out since I sent my request pretty late.

these are brand new and don't really cost all that much, so i dont know if it really counts as a grail so to speak, but this was actually the piece that brought me to this message board in the first place. someone posted this elsewhere and when i asked about it i was basically told "good luck"

it would be cool to end up with my "gateway kaiju" :)

Relax guys. If you didn't get a Marswillrule email then you're likely locked in (unless it was a "request" or lottery type thing).

I've been wrong before and it could fall through but that particular seller has been great in the past on super limited items.

Edits: I missed out so I'm not sure how they're doing the sale. Tokyocube is generally true to their word. If its a "request" it might be lottery though.

    I don't think this was a pre-order at all...

I put an order for 2 figures, it went through and then realized it was a one piece per person.

So I went back on their site and ordered the last remaining figure. After this appeared the message about taking request.

I send them an email to tell them to cancel my first order and got a reply.

So I think they don't have an automatic control for the quantity you order, so they have to check the orders later and this is why they accept requests after....

    A bit tricky I guess...

As far as I know, my first order has been cancelled, wainting now to be refund and the second order is on its way.

Hope you guys will get one !

Was this before the pre-order status when you ordered? I didn't even get an email confirmation for it.

    preorder or request?

It wasn't a preorder, it was a request which is a slightly different thing. I think they take orders initially and try to fill them but they don't always know how many they will get, so I guess it will be oversubscribed...

    Lottery?

I guess no news is good news. I ordered as soon as I saw it, but I don't know how long it had been up for. I don't know about it being a lottery, I just think it was first come first served and they'd sell as many as they managed to get a hold of, which I doubt was many. I think they're good guys though and will do they're best. Good luck all...

The item is def marked as "sold out". I checked the status of my request and it's marked "pending". Not sure what this means in this case but I'm optimistic since they havn't sent me an e-mail saying I'm out. :|

That's not good theyre still accepting request on dehara dog. I would be shocked if they got more than 3-4 Rangeas' in. I know I wasn't one of the first three or four so my fingers are crossed and my hands are praying.

My hand held device wouldn't allow use of teh request button - so I emailed them instead - but unfortunately they refused to honor an email as it wasn't a request...fair enough - but a bit of a downer as otherwsie I'd have been in time :(

Concerning your question, my order was put on saturday morning at 6:37 AM (I'm in France) so I guess it is okay...

I checked the status and it is now pending while the first one is now cancelled.
