Technically, the "Happy Beaver" toy made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con, but I couldn't throw a party if I got all technical and everything! Please join us in celebrating "Happy Beaver's" emergence into the toy world! Brian Flynn has generously allowed me the use of the Super 7 store for the party!: WHERE? - Super 7, 1628 Post Street, San Francisco CA 94115 WHEN? - Saturday, September 22nd, 2007 7-9:30 PM There'll be plenty of toys, refreshments, and hopefully a couple of other surprises! Hope to see you there! You can check out a picture of the toy at http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1371/861 ... 0bba_o.jpg
I like the color it is.......but you're missing the one option that some of us absolutely die for. GID (like an orange GID figure would be awesome. It would still have the orange color in the day time, like it's original color) hmmmm.....I can hear all the really bad jokes about a glow in the dark Happy Beaver....SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!! Looks like I'm going to be at Super 7 every weekend til the end of the year (but then so what else is new)
"Happy Beaver" Pictures! I have trouble posting the these forums, but here's a link to check out my toy: http://www.flickr.com/photos/67896537@N ... 279443905/
What's the price on these? Depending on cost would someone be willing to pick this up for me at the show?
GID would be great but a Clear ghost Beaver would be just as impressive - these vinyl choices are the new black
It'll be $45.00 at the party, but for a little more money, you can order one right from my blog at http://www.jeffpidgeon.com and it'll be shipped right to you!
Interesting... you're right, I hadn't considered a glow-in-the-dark figure, or a clear version. I wish I could add those options to my poll without having to start a new one, but I'm not sure that's possible.
I voted black or any clear version would do. You could do a custom contest Pidge. That would be a great way to promote your design and get some wild paint jobs. A happy beaver clear army would look great! IKe
