BEETLAR is one tough looking little dood with a beautiful paint job, this figure would be perfect if his arms could move . But over all its awesome!!! I look forward to the other color ways!!! Hopefully a clear black with metalic spray and a GID for sure!!!! What does everyone else think about Beetlar~?
I like it even more than I expected to. A real charmer and a finely detailed sculpt. It's great that the first issue was so spectacular. I hope to see more in translucent colors, or true to real-life beetles, in shiny metallic opaque colors. So many possibilities. Also hope to see more from Buster Call based on their first figure.
I haven't experienced it in person, but the sculpt seems to have a lot of detail for a small figure. I hope that we will see some of the other colorways previewed at Wonderfest- maybe at Patchi Summit, ehhh?
If I didn't look at it, I would not have picked it up. He is a bit smaller than other figs and the details are really good. The only moving part is his head. Good thing too cause his horn would break through the plastic...lol
Beetlar is just too small to get my interest. I was, however, blown away by the amazing detail. You see less fine detail on figures twice as large. I'm just not into small figures. That leaves more for everyone else, though.
I've only seen pictures, but the detail does look amazing. I'm so sad I missed out.. hopefully some RFSO deals in the near future?
I think its made by a guy/company named Buster Call or Buster Calls. I thought it might have been designed by a western artist b/c of the name, but Hiro told me its by a Japanese artist. Thats all I know to Beetlar as far as who makes it

Only seem the photos, but I love it! Especially (only?) in this colorway! I was disappointed to find that it wasn't "fight size" - but then I figured that it'd look great with my Galtans! I'm looking forward to other colorways too - but I don't know if any will beat the S7 colorway. The clear vinyl really kicks this sculpt off!
I hope the Buster Call fella knows about the extremely warm reception that his now toy has received. I could just imagine how anxious a small Japanese toy producer would be, releasing their first proper version of their first proper toy at a store in California.
