well, at least of few of you guys are looking for astro mu vinyls that much is clear . i would be interested to see what would make your list of vinyls you would be looking for . personally , when i can afford it , talkers and triton of the sea kaiju and dinos .
Trying to complete a set of the Zone Fighter, Magma Taishi and Iron King standard vinyls by Orange/Ark. I really love the style and paint on these guys. Done with the Iron King set... sort of. Working on the others.
Haha...honestly, when I first read what this thread was about, my first inclination was NOT to post! Why on Earth would I tell everyone what *I* was looking for these days!? Then they may want to horn in on MY action! Nah, when it comes to vintage, I'm actually not that huge into kaiju right now. I'm focusing on Nagai Go-era super robot mini-vinyls...and that bastard, Sjoen, has gotten me hooked on Popy/Bullmark/Takatoku standard missile-firing vinyls (again, robots). I recently lost a mimb Mach Baron on Y!J...went for $500ish.
there are still a few tiger7 figures i want, but will be pretty pricey i think. the last talker i saw went for large dollars. i snoozed on a carded mini set recently that went for ridiculously cheap, im so annoyed with myself! also looking for that two headed rat dude from spectreman in nice shape.
I need this talker but it eludes me! Heck I need a lot of talkers! http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f57514868 I can also use a few spare astro-mu parts, a blue missile fire mu body, a Keyop/Jinpei Nakajima Gatchaman nodder, and a few exceptional hawaii vinyls if you decide to give them away. Oh yeah, about 10 dorogamis, 5 skull toys and plenty or RxH!
I'm looking for a Gatchaman belt buckle in the shape of the "G". I saw it somewhere years ago and it wasn't up for sale. Now I can't find any info on it ....figment of my imagination perhaps.
i have recently begun hunting for some popy keiji-k.....like i need another thing to obsess over.....
Japanese madball headpoppers and Superdeformed style mad scientist zombies and monsters and the playset... and An official Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time.
currently into Popy figs of old heros - also older Bandais of same (don't really care for the Soul of Sofubi series - too posed)
i'm working on my spectreman marmit parababies right now. i have others but these are the ones that i need: you know. i find it odd that i can not for the life of me find a website that lists all of the spectreman parababies made. the guy at clubtokyo has a list of giant robot and space giants and what have you but nothing on 'supekutoruman'. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Wow, nice collection! I heart Marmit Para-babies. These are the Spectreman ones that I have... Hmm, you have a lot of color versions that I've never seen. I thought the blue manta-ray guy in the first photo (far left), and the bumpy blue guy in the bottom photo (far left) were Akakage kaiju (sorry, the names escape me). I know I've seen several color versions that neither of us have as well. I'm still kicking myself for passing up an unpainted proto of the Sandergei!
I'm looking for more 60s-70s vinyl toys of advertising icons. I've got a ton of doughboys and a handful of green giant sprouts, but I need more. I wouldn't mind learning about other cultures advertising icons and collecting those, but for now USA! USA!
yeah i don't know about the blue manta guy and the bumpy guy. the photos were taken by my 'friend in japan' who was trying to get me to take them off her hands but i didn't want to buy doubles and she wouldn't break up the set. now i'm kicking myself cause i haven't heard much from her since (especially since i forgot about this fellow from france who contacted me months before wanting to buy any doubles i might have).
