Awesome! I pre-ordered these books through Shocker Worldwide, so I hope to get both versions of the book in the next few days!
The official release date is the 31st, but Balzac and Secret Base were supposed to get their copies a week earlier.
We will have these at SWW when I get back from Japan in Mid-January. Everyone who ordered through the FCI should get theirs in the couple of days if not already. Toy Tokyo will have these as well, and I think Misfits Records too. So, some way or another you can track them down.
It's a 225 page book (soft cover with dust jacket). Comes with a CD (there are two versions). As for the toy section, it is full color and includes pretty much every Balzac related toy ever made (I say 'pretty much' because there are a couple of Skullman's missing, I think). There is about 30 pages of full color photos of the toys - front and back - (Skullman, SkullBat, Secret Base Collab's, TWIM collab's, Medicom Toy collab's), and some written words by those related (Hiddy, Fumitomo, Oka, etc. It's pretty rad.
Indeed! They are pretty sweet...but then again, I am biased since I spent the greater part of 2007 translating everything in that damn book!
no these books are official. they are some seriously cool shit. the only toy related stuff i noticed missing were a few bagmen (any after the gold siver and purple ranger) there were DEFINITLY a few toys i have questions about, ill see what i can do ab some pics w questions later. this book is AWSOME tho!!!!
Yeah, the deadline for us to take all the photos was awhile back so things could not be right up to date when the book was published.
i figured it was the case, especially with how quick some of them were released too, it only leaves me hoping for a 2nd volume in the future : ) incase there was some confusion (or to add to it, im good at that) the toys i mentioned i had questions about are pictured, i meant if i could post em here somehow
