Never met him, but Mr. Galaxy posted a picture of himself on Flickr recently: http://flickr.com/photos/billygalaxy/2200997858/ Is there an ever-so-slight resemblance to Mr. Muton? Hmm?
Yeah! . . . they both hit every branch when they fell outta the ugly tree and both are in need of a real haircut!
an OG kaiju dealer from Portland, OR. He runs a brick & mortar place called Billy Galaxy Toy Shop as well as a new store/gallery called (I think) Moshi Moshi. He's been doing this longer than most anybody.
well thanks to him I have finally been able to ID a toy that has been plaguing my memory...MANGLOR MOUNTAIN! I've been trying to figure out its name for such a long time...that thing rules!
Billy Galaxy has some of the best ad vinyl and 80's toys you can find.go to portland and go shopping!
dude ther is a boxed manglor mountain in our house, but I can't say that its mine. also a few observations: 1. due to the fact that billy galaxy has been doing this for so long (and has been absent from the internet for much of the dealin' life, i expected him to be an old guy with a big white beard. 2. he doesn't look anything like carl. haha.
Sorry, I am too busy buying toys to style my hair.... I used to have some sweet metal waist length hair though (even won "best hair" in high school yearbook!)
1.I didn't realize I was absent from the internet! We are reworking my website www.billygalaxy.com currently, but that has been around for 10 years or more. I think it is just really hard to find time to make enough of an online presence with each of these niche groups to keep them happy as well as deal with all of the crap involved with running 3 stores. 2.I voted no on the separated at birth as well. Also: Manglors do not work as advertised, once you pull them apart, they will NEVER go back together again.
how much are them things going for these days? ALSO: Dude, I had EVERY Astro Snik AND the spaceship...unreal that you have those!
