I'm very hyped about this one. But reading they said every edition is going to be handpainted?? I hope they aren't too hard to find or too expensive because of that. With luck there will be a release of a blank or a standard version. I'd like to try painting that piece. Phil
this is a sick sculpt...I love anything that resembles a squid or octopus... I think these should be semi-easy to get...at least easier than most Cronic...and EVERY Cronic piece is handpainted...so that shouldn't have any negative effect...
There really is a growing universe of Cronic figures, and Mark's design fits in nicely. I'm still floored by the amount of work Naoki was able to put into those lucky bags.... I can only imagine what he'd put out if he didn't also have a full time job! (I think he's the only one left who still works in addition to toy designing.) I really do admire how he's built his Cronic family, figure by figure, over the last 3 years. Dedication!!
I like other Cronic fight figures, but there's just so god damn many of them that I choose not to keep up, for fear that I might start collecting them. This one is my favorite of the bunch, I think, and I can't wait to see what's in store. More fight figures!
the arms remind me of the new bemon sculpt the heads fits in nicely with the other cronic fight figures
This thing looks bad-ass and the fact that Mark's gonna hand paint the US editions only solidifies that it will look even better when it's done. If these are only for the Max Toy fan club, then it will be easier for me to get one
Mark is always cool about offering things to club members first. And if memory recalls, his Dream Rockets Balbagon is the best one made so far. This guy deserves major credit for the kaiju scene in the US. Thank him for your having some very cool things these last couple of years.
Was this released yet? Is there a date for it? I can't remember, and of all the super expensive pieces of plastic I can't afford to buy, I don't want to miss this one. Phil
