I never had any personal interactions with VGA but from the photos i've seen and posts i've read of his he had an obvious enthuisasm and focus for his collection.

Rest In Peace VGA - wherever you are i'm sure it'll be well lit by your glow.

Being so new to the board I didn't have any interactions with Brian. But we do share a common bond of growing up in the same town. Glad to see another Indiana collector was on this board. I really wish I could of gotten to know Brian.

My deepest sympathies go out to his family. Rest in peace VGA!

i havent visited this board in awhile and am shocked to see this thread. I used to talk dehara with VGA back in the KR board days and his enthusiasm could rub off on you so easily. so sad. such a loss.

This is horrible news. I didnt know Brian on a personal level and I barely talked with him ecept once or twice via PM's. Its sad to see such a person leave us so suddenly. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. May he rest in peace.

Brian snagged me a HP Bemon way back in the day. Every time I take it out I remember him.

He lives on in what he loved...

I am so relieved, a little embaressed, but relieved...
I was thinking of Crystalglowcrome...Damn what a head fuck.
Away for 4 weeks and I am back with a fuck up like that....What a fright, I havnt been online for 4 weeks and when I opened my email I saw a link to a thread about VGA and was instantly clicked on it thinking it was Crystalglowcrome.
Not thinking that it was an old, revived thread VGA R.I.P.,,
    sheesh..

It's really weird, I keep doing searches and he pops up in lots of them. It always saddens me.
But at the same time in a really stupid way, I like it, sort of that reassurance that he's still around somewhere.

i was new to the boards around the time of his passing, so i never knew him.
actually, this is the first time seeing this post, and i have to say, his legacy truly does live on, being that i have seen that bemon picture recently, and not knowing who the person was in the picture or whatnot, that picture still holds a lot of inspiration to many, and i can only assume his life and enthusiasm still lives on in many of the board members here. RIP, and i wish i could have been around earlier to get to know you...

and now that i know the whole story, i feel kinda stupid for posting about flying humanoids in the VGA glow tribute thread.....
