Ouch, it seems that I was stolen my pic I took this pic and you can find these on my Blog. Okay, this mini is made damn today and it's just a sample still. Mr.Mori made this one because many people seem not be able to get previous metalic-mini head and so he is anxious about it.
my mom sure seems to think so... she thinks I'm fucking crazy for buying all these toys... I wonder if they really will end up being like beanie babies one day...? you know, just a fad like cabbage patch dolls or something... they can't possibly... or can they...?
One of the most well-known kaiju/toy designers (I'll hold back his name to avoid a shitfest) told me last year that he thinks most modern kaiju will plummet in value. (He wasn't speaking about RxH - just neo kaiju in general). That certainly has happened with most Secret Base, though one could say they're more of an "independent toy" than "kaiju" company. But yeah the way I've seen trends come and go here over the last couple of years, the roller coaster ride is pretty intense. I think by and large what we're seeing is there is so much stuff out there that collectors are focusing on just a few key lines. This stuff is so expensive, most collectors don't really have a choice. Personally, my thinking is kind of like how vintage Star Wars collectors react when each cycle of gloom and doomists comes around - let the prices fall, since I'll be there to scoop the good stuff up.
Yup. Let the prices and interest in these toys drop. Better for those of us who will stick around. I like to think that most of us aren't in this for the future monetary value of the toys anyway.
Seriously...everything has a rise and fall and possible rise again. It's not rocket science. All of these new toys are really popular right now. In 10 years maybe not so but when the next generation rolls around again they will be popular.

I dig the green eyes....but I hope the standard figure is still based on the first version's paint design.
I like no.2 very much, but I like no.1 better. it is my favorite mini head thus far. no.2 seems to have some of the same color choices as SF42 metallic red/blue on black chaosfighter. I think a few versions (lottery etc) had a green eye and scarf.
I also prefer the design and colors of #1, though it would be nice to have both together: The Metal Head Mini Brothers.
I like the first one. but I wonder why he's doing this for this release? Seems like the red & green evils are much harder to get than this one.
can't make a good comparison because the second picture is not that great. either way i still like both.
