I love it. Could be really cool painted, but I also love the thing as a blank.

 

Wow, seriously, all the exclusives suck so far (other than the observer, which I already commented on as being cool in the dark only - so I guess it's suckiness is directly related to the day to night ratio).
When're we gonna see what's coming over from Japan?

Two or three years ago I woulda been drooling for that Walker. It's pretty cool, but I don't think I'd buy one anymore.

 

I think that pizz toy might look cool painted.

 

Am I right in thinking I read that the Pizz passed away recently or did I just imagine it . . .

 

I really like this one but it reminds me of another brand name which I know the PIZZ knows of due to the hot rod culture. Could this be some kind of colaboration designer vinyl? Is it even vinyl?

the flying eyeball is an old school image used by alot of artists....I like Rick Griffin's flying eyeballs the best...

I'm with you there - but I seriously don't think the thing's ever going to see the light of day. And all the rest of this stuff ranges from underwhelming to just plain goofy. From the looks of it I overestimated how much cash I needed to budget (which, I guess, is not a bad thing).

The Pizz figure is a mash up tribute to VonDutch, Roth, and Williams. They all had signature characters and this figure sort of combines all three of them. Speaking of tributes, I found this pic in Coop's flickr. Old photo of Roth holding a paper mache cyclops skull Robert Williams did back in the day when he worked for Roth. Supposedly it got stolen by a Hells Angel years ago.
I never even knew this existed until Coop brought it to my attention when I was making Simon. Art repeats itself.

 

no need for yellow Domo or any other colors. Domo is brown.

 

I'm not a big SDCC fan (I've never gone to one) but I think stuff is only just starting to surface.
Gargamel is probably all that I care for and last year, you could score most of it online after the show.

this is without a doubt the case...I think a fraction of what will be there this year has been announced...the next three weeks will be painful and joyous at the same time...

 

Any idea if/when TT will be announcing theres? . . . any SB in amongst 'em?

 

I think it's a safe bet that some TT news will be dropping next week or so...some word on the TT western releases has been leaked, but the good news from the far east is still forthcoming...

as soon as I can, I'll bring you the noise...

 

Lev has been in Japan for weeks (it seems) so I assume they are bringing the heat too.

 

I finally have a reason to be thankful I am driving a huge van to sdcc this year. This is great.

 

Thanks for clearing that one up. I by no means was trying to say The PIZZ was ripping off a design. I just wondered if this was some kind of collab designer toy between Von D or another gear headed company and The PIZZ.

 

I found a bit more info on this one.

The figures stand about 3.25" tall. There will be four colourways including a limited GID edition for SDCC 2008. The Astro Krieg Attack Kraft will have working retractable landing gear, a 360 view bubble dome canopy, a ray gun pistol holster and a human skull trophy carrier.
