which other runs? the regular anraku gogas? no, there are unpainted and painted, some with painted guts too...
atease - actually the "hippie blather" is encouraging! I'd rather wait and learn and make friends than go for the instant gratification. To me Anraku looks like vintage sofubi from a parallel universe. I love the distorted proportions and textured surfaces, and most of the color choices seem to really set them off (whereas with Bemon, say, I love the sculpt but the colors seem to be hit-or-miss). Dako looks almost like some Greek relic recovered from a sunken ship. It's pretty clear why they'd appeal to the "different set of collectors" mentioned.

funny, i was just checking his flickr earlier today after reading this thread... he has an absolutely insane amount of anraku, some of his gogas are absurdly good
i doubt you would ever be able to compile a complete list of gogas released. many of those releases are offered in small runs or given to friends as gifts, but toto's is as close as anyone would get to seeing most of them. glad people like the hippy blather...once in a while i have something constructive to add
no wonder why I can't find a venus gorilla...totojustice has 4 of them...there's probably less than 10 toto, right toto? that is a sick, sick collection of stuff... edit: OMFG...four pink painted gogas...holy mother of god. I'd trade a heaping pile of my best stuff for one painted pink Goga...
I think combining the totojustice flickr page with the Monstock website gallery and you've got documentation of a decent amount of the Anraku out there... anybody know if there are going to be more Gogas, Gorillas or Dakos released? or are these finished and he's going to focus on new stuff? (or have I been fooling myself and there have been a lot of releases recently that go unnoticed by the layman?)
i was so close to getting a goga off someone here about 6 months ago before they sold it to someone else. i have all this good toy karma saved up and it hasn't came back yet. one day! ps great post atease.
that is the old vader dako in that picture btw. insanity...i have the newer one and i still want the old one. it's a sickness i think haha. from my experience, anraku doesn't give specifics of releases. he paints what he wants and sells them. it could be anything that's released at any given time.
Anraku stuff is great. Hope to nail one someday myself, but am not holding my breath. A poysntixels in the ultra rare blue, purple, black asphyxiation color way "isn't that great, akshuly".
Toto's stuff is insane...he has tons and tons of things, but I think Anraku is his main obsession. I still need a clear pink goga ...I am waiting for a different goga in the mail, then I will shoot picks of my stuff.
