What is this?







I thought I had seen this a while ago, but it's dated '08.

Genuine LASK sticker in the bottom left of the photo for reference... as you can see, it's pretty tiny- not more than 2.5" tall.

 

something new for SDCC 08 ? I like! he looks so wize.

 

I believe these were given as gifts from Gargamel for New Years last year.

It's an exceptionally appealing sculpt, that's for sure. Cute, but not in a totally kiddie sort of way. Really cool!

It's pretty neat, though. Very fine details, and the vinyl is sort of sparkly. He shall become Eaton's friend.

Ya, they have a very nice flat gray/blue with starkly vinyl look about them. I'm surprised anyone has parted with theres, as I think they were only given out as New Years gifts. Year of the Rat in case anyone missed that...

yes it was new years gift. It came to my home in a round clear plastic can with a postcard and fake grass inside.

I don't know what is meant by official release unless you mean if it was sold by Gargamel which it never was.

 

It really is a cool piece and the vinyl has a real different texture than the normal super smooth finish that gargamel does. The packaging is really neat too. A GREAT toy.

The color is supposed to mimick patinaed bronze.

I love when people do things like this...little ways of saying thanks to the people who matter to them. This little piece is really cool...and though I'd LOVE to have one, it would feel a little odd...
