That Bigaro just completely kicks ass. The colors of the eye make it look so sinister and the silver just brings it home. The mini ain't bad either but I wanna keep seeing more new colorways of the full size OG4.
this magenta is pink enough...doesn't look as dark as the RHND Bigaro... believe me, it would make life a lot easier if my eyes saw this as magenta...have a feeling this one will be a tough score.
yeah...I keep coming back to this pic. It's an awesome color. I hope that in-person it's still that toothpaste green color. This is the best Bigaro to date IMHO. Mori just blows me away with his never-ending color ideas.
I think the other one was the pink booksa one. black eyes and was lighter. (no wristbands) From Joe's flickr
That 50's-Buick color is perfect on the swoopy Bigaro ... Though I'm not sure how it'd be on a Chaos.
It's not toothpaste green... it's Devilman green! (apologies to Visible Innards for the image swipe!)
+1 - With that pic it's suddenly so obvious! I would love to see someone with some vintage shoot a side-by-side series with all of the different RxH tribute pieces and the original/inspiration pieces, all posed in pairs side-by-side. (It would also be great simply to have as a list of all the RxH tribute paints - I guess we could just put together the list first ...) There must be quite a few by now ... two or three dozen maybe? I don't have my Mook here - Were the Sanagiman Head / Inuzaman Evil set the first 'tribute' RxH paints? - I feel like I'm forgetting some earlier obvious-tribute Head(s) - ?
i was just thinking about this earlier this week getting the some of the original things that the tributes were conceived from and displaying with the tributes (not limiting it just to rxh though across the board) that would make for a really nice display. i don't think i would have seen this as a tribute without the devilman pic, good eye.
I'm really fond of the "painted pants" series so far. Green chaosman and blue mutant head have been released. I can't wait for the rest. The painted cutoff jeans sort of define the mutant head figures for me.
