the gargamel stuff was shipped in a couple boxes, i believe, and one took a little longer to be delivered. we should have the rest of the releases up later today or tomorrow.
Only the Globby, Eaton, and Somgun were at the shop today. Eaton has a squishy head just like the SDCC version. I like the colors but wish the head was clear instead of solid. If I do decide to pick up the Eaton, I'll probably take off the eyes and paint them in.
post some pics afterwards. I like the glitter eyes but I'm curious to see what it would look like painted. I think the orange head would look great with some colored eyes.
Curiously, does the head on all of the eatons come off to reveal the smaller little nubby head, or was that just a special release for SDCC? that mini-zag looks awesome...hoping there's some globby and zag scraps left on Monday to grab at the store. Going on a 'que ser a' vinyl-buying fast this weekend. Lame.
Josh said today or tomorrow based on when the box gets in. If you are really eager because of plans or something..I would just send him or some of the store people and email. probably will get a faster response.
I think all the Eatons coming out after SDCC will have then squishy vinyl Eaton and the little unchin inside. That is what Kiyoka originally intended the Eaton to be...or so that's what I think we got from talking to him at S7 a few months ago. The blue and orange is really nice so there might be a chance that I may break down and buy it.
I think so. It looks like the same paint as the sdcc 08 release which also glows, but in miniaturized form.
These are hand paints by Koji for the Thrash Out Anniversary and are very limited from what I understand. They may be Japan only but you never know...
