This is very true. Although to be even more specific, big hair is consistent with NE Jersey more than anywhere else.
NJ big hair jokes were true and possibly even funny in the 80's. Let's file them with the "what exit?" humor and move on.
though this thread became something kind of funny...why does it exist? what's the point of making a thread with no information at all? "I know something you don't know...nya, nya, nanya, nya!"
Lorne, I think you hit the nail on the head there. ps: Guess what I'm having for lunch today!? I'm not going to tell you. EVER!
And to be fair, the only part of Jersey that counts is North East Jersey. The rest is full of rednecks and freaks.
I amin NJ and so is Skylar, and we MIGHT* go to Chiller. *edited to Might, because I regretted saying "will" when I instantly had 3 pm's asking me to pick it up. no promises, but i could give a crap about this so if i can get one i will. Damn vultures!
I'm excited about gid gorgo! You know I haven't lived in NJ in over ten years so I don't know how it is now, but I've lived in both North and South Jersey. Yes they are completely different. South Jersey does get a bad rap for being all farms and hicks, but that really is a stereotype. I grew up there, I don't have three teeth, talk with a drawl, nor did I race around in a iroc with big hair. OK I had big hair but so did everyone in 1985. North Jersey really is just a suburb of NYC. Just my 2 cents.
North Jersey may be a suburb of NYC, but South Jersey is just a suburb of Philly. I keep trying to insult Missy and Skylar with this fact but they seem to be immune.
Ooooh Roger that is soooo nice! I love the M1/CD figs and Glowies but my chances of getting to Chiller are exactly nil. So I'm just gonna keep looking at that picture for a while. So pretty ... So hypnotizing ...
One of these Chiller Gorgo sets arrived this morning in the mail - and it has almost instantly become one of the favorites in my collection!
