This is my first time showing my collection on the board. I've been a member / lurker for about a year and some change and I've gotten many pieces for my collection from members here. I only collect Bwana Spoons and I know i don't have as much as some of you, but it makes me happy none the less. Its a little pic heavy, but Enjoy! Full Cabinent Shot:Before Now: May 26 My Collection of Steven the Bats. this set took me a while to complete and Steven is probably one of my favorite toys. with new acrylic risers and 2 new stevens Unpainted / Prototype steven the bats. these got here today and are rad as hell! Blood and Guts Custom Steven #40, I never realised the beauty of Bwana's customs till I had one in hand, this guy is awesome! My full set of Edward the Gators. these are all the production Edwards ( i believe) and were a pain to complete, lol. Also, this is the only picture i've seen of all of them together. some of these are limited to 20 so it was satisfying knowing i'm one of the few to have them all. Killer shelves, 9 killers and the out of the sea handpaint edition of dolly the dolphin Globby shelf, with globby, rootbeer pocket globby, little lion girl resin, and some koji and the prints shelf, i think i'm gonna frame all these up soon, along with all the prints from the steven the bats and these are a couple pics of my favourites one of my favourite pieces of art Bwana has done, I was stoked to find a print This was a birthday gift from Bwana to me, its personalized "Happy Birthday Brandon" and just random photos i thought came out well, thanks for looking, hope there weren't too many pictures. I'd love to hear what people think, I'm pretty happy with how its all coming together, and there is more stuff on the way.
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. That's whole lot of Bwana! Looking good. My fave of Bwana has always been the Killers.
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. All those Stevens look great together. What's the difference between the two green ones on the left?
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. Awesome collection. Really digging the dino w/ rocket!
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. That's a serious Bwana collection--like the paint app on that last Killer.
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. that is dedication. and all those hp's together look so amazing! glad to see your first collection post...
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. thanks for all the kind words, it means alot coming from folks who have such impressive vinyl collections! zinc, your itokin collection makes me drool everytime i see it! if you look close, the one on the left is the "awake" version of the Fig belly Steven, and the one on the right is the "sleeping" version, limited to 50. a very subtle difference but I had to have him none the less
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. wow, I seriously love all those bwana bats...!!!!!!!!!! wish I had started collecting them a long long time ago...
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. Wow! That is quite a nice Bwana collection! Your stevens look great! The Dolly the Dolphin is sweet!
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. I agree, I haven't seen many Dolly pictures so it was good to see yours here! I also noticed on the Nerdosaurus print how the head portion (especially the eye) looks like one of Amanda Visell's critters. Artist influencing artist? Coincidence? Awww, who cares! Great stuff!!
Re: First time showing my collection,a little Bwana Spoons. Thanks for sharing. Awesome Bwana collection. You need to get your hands on Jellys.
I love the new display! I am also stoked that Bwana is going to bust out some new Steven customs for his Summer Book Tour--'been a while. What make is your display case? Me needs me one!
He told me that it's the IKEA Billy bookcase with additional glass shelves added in, and the hinged glass doors added to the front. Pretty interesting, as I never woulda guessed that it was just a plain bookcase originally.
Wow! Such an awesome collection of Bwana goodness!!! I stumbled across this thread while Googling some info about Steven the Bat. I know it's an older thread but I figured it deserves a bump so maybe some of us newer folks that haven't seen it yet can enjoy the awesomeness within.
