It honestly is one of the few things i've seen lately that actually creep me the fuck out, so amazing.
There is no way to save the images. But when you can get access to it when ever you click on a sculpt, make sure you enlarge it so you can see the figure in a large image to see the detail. The oni is wild as its face is covered by what looks like small prayer books, it also has bells tied to all his fingers and has a trident slung over his shoulder. I love anything oni and is a perfect example why I decided to make my first toy an oni. This is Such a creepy and powerful figure. Luke is there any info on how to get these pieces ? I want that oni so so so badly.
Can't someone do a screenshot, crop it, imageshack it and post it? WebSense is blocking more and more stuff at work these days...
Enlarging the images is through their website, so when you do it blocks out everything else on my desktop. I guess I could do that for a small image, but its like taking a shot when your buying the whole bottle. Hold up a sec....
Okay got it, full sized : I want to own this in the worst way ! Bable fish translation : Sound of the bell is audible from distant one. The dead God which rode in the cloud of the wood today gathered soul. The jet-black night which is not the wind. As for dead God the smell God burning remains. Soul is not taken personally. Now, death it is necessary to live in prerequisite. Because ahead that it is not understood. Those which that first it represents the respective raw running are the limit which is raised. Original Japanese , maybe one of teh guys here can properly translate this : 遠くの方から鈴の音が聞こえる。 木の雲に乗った死神が今日も魂を集めた。風はない漆黒の夜。 死神は神が燃えた臭いがのこる。自ら魂を奪わない。 今、死を前提に生きる必要がある。 その先はわからないからだ。 その先にイメージするものは、それぞれの生を駆立てる限界だ。
WTF Not what I was expecting. So an Oni is some sort of undead something or other? And thanks Rich for taking the time to post it...
Wiki : Oni (鬼?) are creatures from Japanese folklore, variously translated as demons, devils, ogres or trolls. They are popular characters in Japanese art, literature and theatre. Depictions of oni vary widely but usually portray them as hideous, gigantic, creatures with sharp claws, wild hair, and two long horns growing from their heads. They are humanoid for the most part, but occasionally, they are shown with unnatural features such as odd numbers of eyes or extra fingers and toes. Their skin may be any number of colors, but red and blue are particularly common. They are often depicted wearing tiger-skin loincloths and carrying iron clubs, called kanabō (金棒?). This image leads to the expression "oni with an iron club" (鬼に金棒, oni-ni-kanabō?), that is, to be invincible or undefeatable. It can also be used in the sense of "strong beyond strong", or having one's natural quality enhanced or supplemented by the use of some tool.
that thing is so fucking disturbing!! thanks again for posting LASH....how tall is that damn thing. i wish i could get the link to work so i can check out his other stuff.
Fuck that! If I saw that thing in someone's house I'd be out so quick. I think the bells on it's claws scare me the most for some reason.
