Onell Designs Armodoc

Makers of the Glyos System toys had this new interchangeable vinyl toy at SDCC really nice!:

 

That was a pretty cool toy! My cousin picked up one and they came with a little dude inside.

 

Yeah the little guy was a surprise. All of their stuff is top notch quality and fun to build too:

 

These are pretty cool! Are they vinyl and pvc?

 

when will these be available? How much will they run? I love the look of these guys.

 

The big guy is vinyl, and the little guy is what ever indestructible blend of plastics they formulated for Matt.

 

i'm not sure how i feel about the big dude. i love that all of the onell stuff is geared towards playing and fucking around with toys and i love the charm and character of the small dudes. the big guy seems to be missing the charm. but at 25 bucks its a bargain amongst everything else

They don't appear to be on sale yet there, it may just be a matter of time or a different colorway. The little guy inside was a secret bonus when you bought the big guy. I'm not sure of their cost but knowing Matt they were likely really reasonable for what you get.

 

Met Matt last week and he is really a cool guy and just a sick painter!

 

Gasp! The secret is out...

Someone on the October Toys forums discovered that Armodoc's arms are interchangeable with the MZ3 RxH toys. They're actually about the same height as well.

 

awesome stuff! I thought these were going to be pvc, I was really suprised to read that they are going to be vinyl..which is definitely awesome.

 

For some reason these just lose the charm for me that the lil ones have.

 

I dunno, they seem pretty charming to me... the blaster arm and the little beady eyes are awesome, and the thoughts of what can be made with a bunch of them

 

now that i saw these guys interchangeable with the RxH stuff, makes me want them even more

I like these guys because they are much bigger than the reg glyos figures. I would jump on getting the small glyos stuff, but my cats already found out that my small gormiti collection makes great playthings

While it is unlikely I will start collecting these, I think they have a certain charm, and the little guy inside is a nice touch. Interchangeable parts is always a plus, too.

 

what I love most about the Armodoc and almost everything Onell is that the toy is truly a tactile experience. You hold it, start looking at it and then before you know it, you're playing with it. Very hard to put down.

the little dudes are spectacular i am glad i dont have dozens of them or i would be playing all day

 

this went on sale today and sold out already. it actually sold out while I was adding stuff to my cart... missed it by a minute or 2 literally.

 

I posted last night they are up for sale here and had to take it back down not even 5 min later... maybe next round, but I did score some cool ones.
Ill just have to admire my friends now.
