No, and no. It was Anraku's decision that they not be for sale. I did not buy any of them.

Man, that is just an amazing custom. I cannot fathom the amount of time that he must have taken in painting the gold pattern. Looks even better than in the store shots. Congrats, Joe.

 

Considering how small the Beetlar is, that painted pattern looks like the kind of thing that requires a very steady hand and causes severe eyestrain. But it's such a beautiful effect.

 

I met the guy that bought my Zag. It was surreal considering where I was at the time of meeting. Thank you Nagoya-san!!

 

This was my #1 want & I'm glad it went up for sale. The colors on this are awesome, very subtle
& bright.

So.. who has no. 3? Buster Call pulled out some pretty amazing techniques with his custom pieces for the show. This one looks like an old iron figurine due to a precise application of silver paint on a black base.

 

Both of those Beetlar's are insanely good. Funny, I never noticed the butt-crack before.

 

Why can't Canada have more shows like this!

 

I wish there were enough sofubi fans in any one city up here to justify a Canadian gallery showing of Kaiju. I'm sure it would catch on, but people up here are generally clueless.
