OK. so I know this board isnt for western vinyl, but i wanted to share the custom calli ive been working on the past few weeks. i rarely have time to pursue my creative inclinations these days, so its with great joy that i get to show you guys what ive done. (sorry for those who saw this on KR or LA boards--not trying to inundate).
Love the gold colour and the uncomplicated black line work. From my naive eye, it seems to have an egyptian or Navejo feel to it. LA board??
thanks for the warm reception LA board--limitedaddiction.net yeah its egyptian, but specifically from the Amarna period (different art rules during that period). the cartouche on the back says "jordanicus".
nope no decals--just super fine linework with sharpie poster paint marker. the details were nerve-wracking! oh--and i painted the top with createx opaque airbrush colors and a regular paint brush, and it was awesome--no brushstrokes. with the clear-coat it looks like it was done in a factory! i highly recommend.
Nice job. It looks really clean, and black and gold go well together. Edit - Removed because started own thread.
