Its actually an extremely boring sculpt.

Juxtaposing the Israeli flag with that of Nazi Germany by putting a flag in the toys hands, Fuck the USA stamped on the foot and whatever other shenanigans occurred in this 80+ page thread are basic (and trite) shock tactic PR and hype machine churn.

A Prodigy variant released with an Iggy Pop tribute? Might as well have been Bozo the Clown vs Raw Power Iggy.

Maybe it's bad taste but it's what they want to do. I'm glad someone is out there making what they want. It's just one small project that I think is pretty damn cool.

Is the controversial promotion in bad taste? The creative minds behind the tomfoolery are capable of more conceptually and artistically. What seemed offensive was that the promotion was too hamfisted, lazy, and contrived.

COOPS rendition of the toy is easily the best aspect of this line.

I loved the Garamon version, and the red version was pretty great. It's a great sculpt and clearly nagnagnag puts a lot of love into the paint. But really, pound for pound, for the prices being fetched, compared to Anraku, Real Head, Zollmen, Elegab, Bemon? Let's see 2 or 10 more sculpts from nagnagnag before we make any comments on that.

I loved this thread, then hated it, now I love it again. The constant hate and fights and crap is very entertaining. It's like the more people complain about the toy/release/flipping the more people get into the figure, or at least read about it. It's like they're promoting it! Are you guys working for him?

Anyway, I'm always interested to see what comes next. No doubt more complaints and praise at the same time in some weird and disfunctional way but screw it, I'm having a good time.

PS- Carl, I love the new avatar, it must be nice to come outa the barn finally!

ahah I know what you mean, I read this whole thread a few days ago. I just love everything that has happened with the NAG. And the Love/Hate for him. I just love this damn toy! I wonder if there will ever be another sculpt? Or is it Caveman for life?

Mr Krudler, the flag wielding pic I thought was by Greg, not by Shigeru - so not sure he was in on that little bit o "hype".

It is a fun thread - I got a new avatar (thank you Biff), and got all testy with my friends - good times!

You're absolutely correct on that account Carl.

Sometimes I work for people who pay me to protect the interests of third parties who may not even know what's up until they meet me.

There's a synergy going on here that may or may not be calculated.

Bozo the Clown might make for a cool version but John Wayne Gacy would be much more interesting if only for the accessories.

The Iggy version was cool by the way. Just hate Keith Flint.
