dictatortot, what are you trying to pull???
    Brad (dictatortot),

Since you're insincere, impatient, disrespectful and most importantly dishonest enough to escalate to a Paypal claim, I really don't see any reason why I should play NICE. If that's how you wanna play it then let's play. I've got nothing to lose.

dictatortot sent me a payment for $60 purchasing my GID Tokoji Seijin on June 7th. I shipped the same day then pm'd him saying it went out and that it'll take around 1-2 weeks. He then replies the next day on June 8th confirming that he got my message and will let me know once it arrives. That was the end of message our exchange on Skullbrain or anywhere.

To my surprise, I received an escalated paypal claims dispute from dictatortot today June 19th with the following message attached:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have not yet received the Gargamel GID Seijin that I purchased on the SkullBrain board. It has been three weeks and my daughter's birthday has already passed (it was gong to be a present). I have not heard from you via email or PM, and there is no record here on Paypal or anywhere else that the item was mailed.

Kindly refund my money, and we'll just put the transaction behind us.

    Thanks, Brad

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Help me conclude that you're not being impatient and that you're not out to screw me by answering the questions below:

#1) How the hell has it been 3 weeks? You paid on June 7th, I shipped on June 7th and now Paypal claims dispute on June 19th? So if it doesn't fall under your agenda & personal regulations then I'm screwed?

#2) You're telling me that because it didn't arrive on time for YOUR daughter's birthday (which you never told me about) so now I'm being penalized?

#3) When the heck did you ever pm me or emailed me after June 8th? Where was my warning??

#4) You have 45 days from date of purchase to file for a dispute on Paypal. It's only been week 2. Do you just want your money back regardless of whether the item arrives or not??

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The package had no tracking but I do have a shipped receipt and, thank god, was insured. Regardless, I'm very unimpressed and pissed off with your little lies and ZERO PATIENCE. I try to remain tolerant and calm in these situations but right after I saw the reason you presented on Paypal, I came to the conclusion that you're fucking with me.

We could have kept in touch with the situation and waited a little longer no? If anything, it's probably stuck at customs which could delay it by 1-2 weeks. If by week 4 or 5 and it still hasn't arrived, I would've given you the full refund. Or you could file for the dispute then. Why now?

You're antics on the board have been questionable but I never thought you'd be that unreasonable. If you feel this call out it unnecessary, then is escalating a Paypal claim 2 weeks after it was shipped along with forging a deceitful story anywhere necessary?? If you weren't serious about this purchase in the first place then don't buy from me. But you know what, FUCK ME for shipping without tracking. And FUCK ME for giving all board members my trust and respect.

**Forgot to add that dictatortot initially sent me a fishy $60 payment on June 3rd. You know, one of those that had no shipping addresses which rendered both Paypal’s seller protection and Canada Post’s package insurance useless. Upon seeing this I refunded his money and kindly asked him to resend the funds with a registered shipping address on Paypal which he did on June 7th (hence all this mess started). I had a gut feeling that something might go wrong then and now voila! Trust your gut feeling everyone.**

Sorry to hear about this and sounds like a douche move.

In the last 4 years I've had shipments from Canada people on this board as well as Asia...and it's taken 3-4 weeks (per my request to save on shipping) and they've always arrived safe and sound.

I think it's really unreasonable to wait less than the 45 days. Not even half (or well, may be half)! But truth is that with no communication prior to the problem doesn't seem like the nice/fair/civil way of handling things. I know we all think differently but some things are just common sense. Good luck with this mikee. One thing's for sure, dictatortot has not had the best of starts.

Thanks Bryce. I've had zero problems selling here. I've had one problem with a lost package that I sold to an established member. However, he was kind and most importantly patient enough to wait nearly 45 days. What more could I ask for? I refunded him the full amount, no questions asked. I was also able to file a claim with Canada Post for that package so it wasn't a total lost.

I really don't wanna start boycotting noobs but this... wow... sorry but dictatortot pretty much redefined 'Fresh Meat'.

Axolotl, I never expect anyone to wait 45 days. But I would say 3-4 weeks is reasonable right? Shit happens and especially with post.

    Anyone surprised?

Most packages from Canada take at least 10 days to ship.

Well, someone else for my 'do not sell' list. Hope this gets resolved peacefully.

I've waited 45 days twice now for SB members... one turned out fine and had comm with him all the time... the other is still pending...
Yes, shit happens but we all should try to minimize it. I always use tracking nums.

Whether he's gonna have any issues buying from others, well that's not for me to decide. Maybe I'm being picked on for being Canadian? I would've have chosen the peaceful route but his testimony on Paypal just drove me over the line.

Most people shipping from Canada won't use tracking. It's not because they're trying to screw you over: remember (or learn!) that shipping one toy from the US to Canada with tracking is often less than 5$. The minimum without tracking from Canada to the US is 7$, with tracking something like 15$.

Custom delays are totally random. A few hours to a few weeks.

So don't be jerks, people. Wait a few weeks. Only complain if people read but don't reply to your pm's (you'll know if they're not in your outbox anymore). I loved buying things here as a total Fresh Meat. Don't ruin it for everyone else.

That explanation just nailed it petitetoilonrouge. Canada post service is extremely limited and unquestionably expensive even for small, lightweight packages.

kichigai that's a kind gesture. I doubt that it's coming back but if it does then I'll let you know.

I've a friend who runs a webstore here who actually crosses the border to the US to ship his stuff to Canada. Crazy.

What kind of name is dictatortot anyhow? Dick and Tatortot? Are you a dick that eats a lot of frozen potato meals, or a dictator that acts like a toddler?

Anyhow it should be a sticky somewhere in the BST forum that the Canadian post is extremely slow. I've learned the hard way. Even if you are given a tracking number two weeks can pass and if you check it on the site it will still just say accepted and the name of the place it was accepted from. Package from Canada: 10-14 days usually. If you get it before that it's like you won the lottery.

mikeee is a stand up guy, dictatortot you'll get your package. I'd say he has more to worry about/ or question with you sending a non shipping address initial payment then this....

I've had packages from Canada take up to a month to get to me due to getting held up in customs. However, communication is key. Had dictatortot messaged you when becoming concerned, I'm sure this wouldn't have snowballed. Sorry this happened to you.

shit like this sucks...I myself am a newcomer to the forum (lurker for a long time!!!!) & being based in the UK I'm hoping to score some stuff here instead of taking it up the pooper for shipping & customs charges usually incurred buying from most online stores, as I'm new I don't want dics (see what I did there) like this putting people off dealing with the likes of me.
Plenty of dealings on other boards & as stated you should allow at least 3 weeks & then try to contact the seller before filing a claim.
Hope you get this resolved soon....if not you've always got his address. ;)

Canada Post is slow with insured package with tracking.
It very fast otherwise, because they don't have to give a fuck.
Toys in padded envoloppe take less than a week - one way or the other.

canada post sucks big time. The timing of shippments are never the same some it's 3 weeks some it's 10 days. I wish they were consistent. I sell less cause of this.

So you are saying I will be receiving my package?

This other douche bag/whatever stuff does not affect me. You are all being a bunch of bitches IMHO. I joined this site because I like to collect toys. And I pay for my purchases on time. And I mail out my packages on time. If you don't want to sell to me. Fine. I don't care. You probably don't have anything I (or my kids) would want anyway.

I have never had to wait 45 days for something to arrive from Canada. That is BS. And 7 + 14 = 21. Yesterday was the 19th. So I'm off by a couple days? You want to call me a liar? I can live with that.

If you feel you are feeling fucked with, you probably are.

Oh, hell. I'd rather pay "douche bag" mark-ups on eBay then deal with you bunch of laughable scene boys. Peace everybody! :)

    Brad Jones a.k.a. Dictatortot

Oh, lixxer. The name means whatever you want it to mean. If it makes you think of sucking on potatoes shaped like phaluses, you may want to take a look at that.

    " That is BS. And 7 + 14 = 21. "

If you paid on the 7th and it's now the 20th, that would be 13 days...you and your math seem to be off.

This is the same guy who wanted to buy a skull captain from me, asked for it, then said he didn't want it, then sent the money for it, then asked for a refund. When I said it had already been shipped, He said he would flip it.

    One to stay away from.

If we are just a bunch of little bitches, why are you here? To collect toys or start shit? Seems the latter bro...

All I'm saying is mikeee is a pretty nice guy. I can vouch for him and I sincerely doubt he would rip you off. If you got off on the wrong foot with a lot of members here why continue down the same path? Kindness goes much further here believe me, I should know, been here done that (ask around). I'd be worried if it stretched into a month or so, but less than two weeks from Canada? Not a big deal. I've had about 15 toy shipments from Canada and only twice did it come less than a week. Usually 12-17days and I'm right on the border in Buffalo.
