I'm surpried I really like the new StrangeCo collab pieces - well the Nathan Ota and MARS-1 pieces. Tempted so long as they don't try charging silly money for them

Thanks for the photo! It's definitely something I could do without though. I don't like his use of human hands/arms.

Yep ruins it for me too...nice to see StrangeCo working with some interesting artists though. I guess the hands are there for balance as much as the design

Saw these today and was pretty stoked!

Oh, not much of a help from this end because of my lack of observation skills. But there's a booth towards the other end of the con that has a few Pushead stuff people might be interested in.

Not noticed a price but it looks like shit! 3D scanning the original version means it's lost all definition and all the angled armor is kinda blobby and lame.

They are releasing a vintage carded range which looks kinda cool, using the OG Kenner backing cards and also a scale ATAT that's over 2' tall and kitted with a speeder bike, winch and firing guns. It blows the OG version into the weeds and is only $100!

    they were $85.

they looked amazing in the packaging, a giant blown up card in a blister pack.
but i played with the toy and it deterred me from buying it, it felt really really cheap. i would rather have a blow molded bootleg.

Honestly if I get the Kenner blow up tropper it wouldn't be for playing. I Love the thought of nailing a giant blister card to my wall like I did as a kid haha.

Plus. I've been literally playing with my unpainted mongolions all week. And I can safely say they'll stay fun, for a while to come!

One upside to collecting unpaints is that me and my 3 yo can have monster battles w.o worrying too much about scratching or paint app messups. He hasnt got the gist of it yet tho, most of the monster battles start with conflict resolution, talking about feelings and having a group hug.
