So has anyone seen the header for the Griffon (and possibly other figures?) It shows drawings of Gigan, Gorosaurus, Minya and other Toho kaiju. I hope Butanohana will make these soon!
There's definitely a few drawings on the tsuburaya headers that i would love to see realised. I know a few here would love to see zazahn (myself included), i think even the bullmark vintage looks like a Butanohana toy. The giant size series will bring some big surprises so i guess we will have to wait and see.
Yes the new header was very interesting. I zoned in on the little drawing of the King Ghidorah. A Butanohana King Ghidorah would be so sweet.
I love the header art...especially the goji one. There are a lot of images that haven't been recreated..and I'm still dying/waiting for a zazahn. I think I'll be complete when that happens.
Two new toys of that ridiculous guy debut at the same time? What are the odds I think the Buta style works much better for him.
^Yup, Buta definately! Marmit's got it more accurate, but that guys too ugly At least Buta injected his style into it which worked really well.
yeah, the buta version looks so much better than marmit's. unpainted in this color, it's quite the looker. what else is coming out?
Looks like this monkey guy is the only new figure. From what I figure from his blog he seems to be doing re-runs of the last few figures. But looks like he sold out of the Griffin and Matango yet again, at the recent Super fest? Supposedly he was going to release some end of Sept but its going to be Oct now.
with the unfortunate ordering snafu on the previous batch of butas, i hope we have better luck in grabbing the reissues this time around. i love how he doesn't have any problems reissuing in larger numbers to meet demand.
On the back shot posted a little while ago, I was thinking that the texture looked a little heavy handed and meh. But the front looks really nice. Would like to see the back again and see if it got smoothed out.
I'm liking them equally. Hope I can score both the marmit and BUtanohana versions! This character is so funny looking.
It's like a spud that got angry and decided to go and kill his older bro mr. potato head. Deliciously weird.
Speaking of two companies debuting a creature at the same time, that slug on the end is the same one Zollmen just did. Right?
Um, no. The one on the left is Namegon; one on the right is Goga. Demeking is a 'patchi' version of Goga... kind of.
Um, yes. I meant the one at the end of the photo from Butanohana is Golga and the Zollmen one is Demeking and definetily not a 'patchi' version of Goga.
