I know patience is a virtue, but who are we kidding? Must obtain painted Greasebat! Any updates on price, time, day quantities? Inquiring minds and my mule wish to know.
Sorry there is no other info available on the painted GB. They are still in production, and its going to go down to the wire as usual... but as soon as I know you will know.
Are there any mules out there? (I'm new at this ) edit: Green with blue stomach?!? http://www.flickr.com/photos/jefflamm/4983627400/
That's the plan russblue, green vinyl with light green and metallic blue highlights. I can't wait to see it!!
I sort of just rediscovered the sculpt (which is weird, because I now find it amazing - great job Jeff and everyone!) and I especially love the green version with black lining that's at the beginning of this thread. I was wondering if it had been released/was supposed to be at some point/was just a proto. Sorry if I missed the info somewhere in the thread...
Header art is so great. I love looking at it and making it, almost as much as the toy itself! Jeff and MH, if you ever want art in the future, just ask. I'd be honored. What a great toy, and I can't wait until NYCC!!
Still not done yet and they are still in japan. Supposed to ship by Monday so I Pray they make it by Friday. The info and pix aren't posted because of that, no secrets or hype! Thx Chad
Thank you. The light green with black rub was the original sculpey sculpt that the sculptor sculpted. He is Walter "Chauskoskis" Jacott, a very talented person! He added the color to bring out the details. That color scheme may be produced some day, we'll see how it all goes.
The pre-order certificate was awesome on the Bluegrass version. Totally made the wait even more worth it.
The black SDCC version was $65... was this the same for the Blue Grass? I would expect the NYCC version to be a bit more expensive considering it has a paint app going on. Totally psyched to see how these will turn out!
thx guys, Chad will have to reply about the final painted price. But yeah, the unpainted releases were 65 each. Appreciate the support
