No names, no pack-drill but he's a lucky, lucky boy! ;)

That Rat is fantastic. I love the head position and facial expression.

Gargamel blog had a KaToPe custom tiger available for sale back in August from the Thrash Out 6th Anv show (scroll down to item K-10):

I really wanted to buy it since my son was born in May 2010, but it was pricey and while I hesitated, someone else bought it. If I realized then how hard a zodiac Tiger would be to get, I would have snagged it.

Yeah, I feel you. I have been looking for a tiger and an Ox but so far no luck... I can imagine the tiger is going to be like finding a hen's tooth.

Sounds like a 'friends and family' kinda release . . . primarily stockists and distributors. I'd give up now!

Yeah, as soon as I heard the nature of the zodiac figs, I gave up the search. I figure there's enough other, non-vinyl tiger zodiac items I can get for my son. Unless anyone else starts doing other kinds of Chinese zodiac vinyl figures... They'd probably be really popular.

You never know where these will pop up though. There was a tiger on ebay awhile back and akum6n found a rat on mandarake.

Extremely hard to find but they have emerged.

Not really similar in any way but Joe Ledbetter is doing a series of vinyl zodiac toys too. I prefer the Gargamel but these aren't bad. http://www.vinylpulse.com/2010/12/joe-ledbetters-chinese-zodiac.html

Thanks for the tip! I'm not much of a Ledbetter fan. Nothing wrong with his stuff, just not my thing typically. These might grow on me enough though to pick up a tiger for my son's year (and maybe a pig for mine).
