Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Just do a google translate (unless its text within graphics): http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=EN
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist i use google translator but very often seems that translator is under the effect of THC or LSD
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Well, this supposed to be a Barom-1 thread, but all Rainbow products are cool ! This topic might be more appropriate as things on Inazuma & other series have already been discussed there : http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=32918&p=477797&hilit=rainbow#p477797
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist At long last, Rainbow has released the hero from the series ! Looking really classical & vintage (like all their release you might say...), they added articulation to the legs this time. The paint job is really nice and they must have used quite a few masks to do this. Even though the monsters are more appealing than the hero, it would be great they released the 2 kids as a set now.
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist i dont know if is the right place to post it but Dedo gave is contribute to barom1 legend...
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist i was wondering about the barom-1 release. put my pre-order in awhile back and the estimated release date was sometime in feb. judging by the picture, the delay will be well worth it! and totally, the kids set should be made...
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist I really dig that Barom-1.Reminds me of the vintage Bandai toy.It looks more retro than the monsters Rainbow did.
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist I still wonder what does the Rainbow version look like... But I'm glad the THN one was easier to get and has the original color from the series.
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Standard. The Barom-1 items were proposed for preorder 3 months in advance and I think made to order. Unless a store (most likely only in Japan) has stocked some, they only pop-up in second-hand sales or auctions thereafter.
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist I think this check list is very useful so i try to do something as useful, posting on my blog the name of Monsters in English, in Japanese and a photo. The list is not complete ( i'm speaking about all versions, but i will post each monster of serie) but would be only a tool for people like me that try to make search on YJP or other japanese Shop Today i post monsters from episode 1 to 5. http://kaijulab.blogspot.com/2011/03/only-for-barom1-fan-mosters-from.html
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Not sure where this Barom fits in the list, but he is larger than the standard size You can see that the top of the helmet is green, which is different from the standard size. I can't remember how tall he is, but he is quite tall (he had to sit with legs akimbo on the toy shelf, in order to fit, but you can compare him against Giragindo). Also if you look above little Kanegon's left paw, you will see these little end-points in black--part of a fancy scroll at the knees (the standard size doesn't have the fancy knee scrolls). Sorry for the yucky photo.
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Yes, he's very handsome. I got him last year from JYA, and I've enjoyed having him. He is going to a very special and kind Boardie, who will be making a donation to the Japan Society of New York - for the Japan relief effort. I know he'll be VERY happy at his new home, and surrounded by some awesome toy siblings too!
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Woooah nice giant size Barom 1! You dont see those on here everyday. FYI, I think hes around 13 inches. Has he already been sold?
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Technically, he wasn't sold. I offered him as a gift, but the Boardie said that he will make a donation for the Japan relief, so yes, he is spoken for I was shocked when I first saw him on JYA. He's in great condition too. I haven't seen another like him yet in the auctions, so he must be somewhat difficult to come by.
Re: Barom-1 Rainbow checklist Posted Monster from 6 to 10 episode http://kaijulab.blogspot.com/2011/04/on ... -from.html
