Visalia YMCA Skate Camp 1986 by cometdebris, on Flickr A few rad dudes in this photo: Ron Allen, Matt Hensley, Tom Knox, Steve Steadham, Jim Thiebaud, me, just to name a few. Also, the late and great Mike Ternasky. Can you spot them?
I still have all my old copies of RAD plus some stickers somewhere as well, oh shit I also still have my hoodie I think the Krooked 2d/3d was the last vid I watched which made skating look fun again, 34 and still skating (badly though)
So true. When kids give me shit I just bust out some old school they have never seen or tell em to come back when they are my age and see how well they skate. I still have style but I am smart enough not to push it or try and nail crazy new tricks. It just takes to damn long to get up when I fall hard.
If you live in Boston you've probably seen Sean Burns lurking in a mummy costume or doing something ridiculous at some point. Rad as fuck! http://vimeo.com/23897581
I have a Haro frame that I need some info on. Where is a good place to look for info? The serial number is 85098033. I am trying to figure out the year and model. Any help?
This dudes are insane and make tightrope walking look freaking awesome: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xjeufa ... aris_sport
the first four numbers are the year and month it was produced, september 85 in your case. the next 4 are the individual serial. if you post a pic I could probably ID it.
Thanks, I don't have a pic at the moment. I thought that's how the serial number worked. I will need to get a pic soon. The frame is not at my house. I will get a pic this week. Thanks for the help!!!!!

This thread compelleed me to watch the entire first half of Hokus Pokus on YT; what a memory jolt! I must've watched that vid a dozen times when it first hit, but hadn't recalled any of it in years. Damn, how we used to quote every little aside or intro verbiage from that vid (and tons of others, of course)... and the music! A freaking FLOOD of memories!! Yes, this was THE game-changer, with Public Domain a close second.
