My clear MB needs propping and a few of my Peporas do faceplants too!
I have tiny blobs of blu-tak under their toes :)

    Re: Zollmen Database- updated 8/21/11

I have a few, some love to lean while other seem to stay straight. Overall most Zollmen figures have balance issues. They are very top heavy figures. Something like Badzilla will be fine due to the tail balancing it out, but my Maza, two of my MG5's, an the GID Mad Baron all lean heavily. Every few months I have to break out the blow dryer and then run under cold water to straighten their legs (a harmless cure that sets them straight for a bit).

As much as I love exohead jun' s sculpting,,,sometimes balance issues do get left to the wayside...

Regardless,,,love my mad barons and manmachines to bits!!!!! :)

No problem. It does not hurt the toys if you don't leave it directly on the legs for too long. I just do a little back and forth with my g/f's hairdryer just to soften it slightly, bend them back a bit (holding) and rinse with cold water. Works like a charm. Daniel (akum6n) taught me that one.

I just wanted to add that the oven works wells to. Turn it up to 200 or so, then once its heated, open the oven and hold your toys inside for a while over the top rack. Let the heat-waves rise in the vinyl, and after a minute or two, its all soft for assembly! :)

i heat up all my vinyl in oil in a crockpot on low heat overnight. the parts come out nice and soft in the morning, and with that slick oil coating, they fit together very easily. as a side benefit, the whole house fills with the delicious aroma of the inside of a bullmark display case.

Sorry to pull up a dead topic, but I JUST realized that this is a Galtan custom mash-up of an Baltan body and the head is from the Tiger Mask wrestler Skull Star.
I need these two and make my own.

And why aren't there more Galtan sculpts?! We got so many different gorilla sculpts, why not more skulls?

Well Fourth there are 17 versions of Zollmen Galtan dating back to October 2007 when they first arrived, numerous smaller Exohead versions dating even further back. Perhaps Zollmen has just moved on from the sculpt and is concentrating on new stuff. Years back skulls seem to be the rage but it kind of played itself out.

Oh yeah, I've seen all the variations of colorways from Zollmen and Exohead. I have one of each sculpt (pendant, Exohead mini and Zollmen large).
I just want someone else to do another take on the character with a new sculpt. Like Marmit or something.
I can keep on dreaming...

I really like this brand and have some questions for Zollmen officianados...

Does anyone know which variant the very first release of King Pepora is?
I have found great interviews with many favorite toy companies but not Zollmen. Who is behind Zollmen? What is the history of this company?
Any information would be much appreciated.

the first pepora was the blue version, the second was the green

as for the history of zollmen, not a whole lot is known (at least i don't know)
exohead sculpts pretty much all of their toys, so there is some connection there

How do we even attempt to get on these and buy direct? I keep missing things I want because of my lack of purchasing intelligence...

The Mishka blog has a Zollmen post that says they are a "Hokkaido-based" company? Can anyone add some info on who is behind Zollmen? Who are the guys in that photo?

My appreciation for this brand compels me to want to know more...

Wow those guys are a lot bigger than I was expecting. I thought they'd be 5" figures.

Pretty cool and a nice size for 4500.
