I watched Dawn of the Mummy the other day, Thanks Tooth and Donnie for the shout out on that. Last night I watched the Baby's Room, it's on Netflix and was from some compilation called six films to keep you awake, but it's by Alex De La Iglesia who made one of the best movies ever, Day of the beast! It was actually one of the creepier movies I've seen in a long time, thought it was good.
Not really a movie, but still, perfect for this time of year. They were definitely in their prime here. I wish they would have stayed this way....
Getting into the spirit. one of the most fun movies i've ever watched. also recently Black Sabbath Troll Hunter Baseket Case was just released on Blu ray. Going to pick that up to replace may worn out VHS copy
You gotta love the 70's when movie studios cranked out off the wall shit like The Thing With Two Heads instead of just remaking something that was profitable 10 yrs ago. An aside, the 'Warner Archives' dvd's are DVR's. (I just got Green Slime) - great movie & good quality, but DVR's don't last as long (I am told - ink vs physical pitting).
^ "Troll Hunter" was surprisingly very good. Big monsters everywhere! Everyone on this board would probably enjoy it. I suggest everyone with Netflix streaming to give this flick a watch.
Saw trollhunter a while ago and had a dream about it last night. Shining bright lights to get huge trolls to explode, good stuff. I haven't been watching a horror film every day which is a shame, but I certainly have a little queue going. American Horror Story (show) was shit terrible.
netflix streaming, a bunch of trailers...awesome 1970's horror.. Mad Rons Prevues from Hell..it also had some really corny bits that were sort of fun
Sorry again, not really a movie but Dark Shadows is so great this time of year. Netflix streaming has every episode!
He played a fine Gynecologist in his Dead Ringers, as I recall... Thanks for helping me pick tonight's horrors I haven't watched The Brood or Shivers in years!
These two flicks tonight since I've got nothing to do. ^ Perhaps one of my all time favorite movies. ^ This is a great under-rated gem. I never really hear this movie discussed among horror fans too much but it's pretty damn awesome.
Glad to see Suspiria get a second mention here. Rawhead Rex is a welcome edition too. Way to go, tentakel! Checked out two of my favorite Norman J. Warren films tonight aka and CRIMINALLY underrecognized!
hahahahaha Inseminoid. God! What a pile of utter trash. Brilliant. Nothing better than unstable sets rocking in the background.
Bava on a benny hill budget. basket case blu ray is out of this world, so is the bloddy trilogy actually.
so i went and saw the Thing PREQUEL and it was pretty decent i dug it alot actually... love the original though
