... Because I need to complain about a Super 7 order. It was supposed to ship on Sept 27, but according to the post office's tracking, they never got it.
Already had, it was being looked into as of October 8th. Hadn't had a reply since. Hope NYCC went well!
Everyone has a right to complain, but why don't you handle this through P.M.'s. I mean there's nothing any of us (besides the store workers) can do for you, so now you know who to contact...
Complain was the wrong word, I should have said inquire. I apologize if I came off as a jerk, or besmirched the good name of Super 7, or Skullbrian.org
But I did manage to type skullbrian.org. Reinforcing the (correct), image, that I am none-to-bright... So I'm sorry if I besmirched skullbrain.org as well.
Oh I don't know, "Skullbrian" might be seen as a bit of a tribute to Mr. Flynn, upon whose dime we here reside, trade, sell, buy, gossip, quarrel, wheel, deal, socialize, play, share, and sometimes smirch and besmirch against our better instincts. Did you know that "smirch" and "besmirch" mean the same thing? I didn't either until I looked up the etymology. So Englyshe.
I don't really see why people get jumped on for commenting about slow service. I've been dealing with S7 for over 5 years now, and their approach to shipping is (and has always been) downright lackadaisical. I realize people are busy, yada yada, but if you're running a retail establishment it should not take 10 days to throw a toy in a package and get it in the mail after someone pays for it. (This, by the way, just happened to me with the new Zombie Fighter). I mean, I'm patient, and I'm used to it, but if someone is new to the game I can see them being a little perturbed and/or worried. I'm sure I'll get reamed for this, but customer service is NOT a dirty phrase, and you should not have to make long distance calls or send emails to find out what's happening with your purchase.
I don't think he's getting jumped on for pointing out the service. He's just being told that there are other ways to handle it rather than posting it on a public forum. However, slow service is something to wonder about.
Good point, Bert. I'm not trying to rake S7 over the coals, (I love 'em, obviously) just saying that I can see how someone unfamiliar with their business practices can be upset.
As someone who can walk to the store I don't really have a dog in this hunt, but as food for thought remember that at any given time, there are very few people working at the store, usually two from what I've seen, and of course one has to stay up front to deal with the public. Often my impression has been that the person working in back processing orders etc. is swamped with what work they have. Scary Andy I think your orders just slowed down by a few days, but if you send Joe some roasted bone marrow he might let it pass.
It's too bad we can't see the production of this guy in action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8DqhZmMGrU
