This is a handsome idea! Maybe we can find out if there's a way to add a little "show first name next to avatar" option for people who want to add it. EDIT: Looks like there's a really simple way to do this if enough people would want to do it. TiredChildren = James
ultrakaiju/Steve, I'm cool with the mods moving the thread if they so choose, although some might consider it to be more off-topic clutter in that forum. Thanks for the responses so far folks. I've created a very simple spreadsheet with screen names, first names, and alternate first names. Should help when memory fails. Now I'm curious about how some of the screen names came about, but we can save that for another thread some day. Here's hoping this keeps on going...
It amazes me how some boardies can conjure up long-dead threads. At another forum I used to participate in, we called that "necroposting." Thanks man. If anyone wants to tell the story of their screen name there, go for it.
