I'm planning on an Austin trip in October... my buddy Pineapple says I HAVE to go to Terror Tuesday at the Alamo.... planning on checking out shops out there too!
Hah - I know Pineapple too. We just officially met earlier this year when he bought a couple Mondo prints off me.
in the middle of this by Adam Hays 2 Red Rocket Tattoo in NYC. 4 more hours to go on this bad boy. http://www.losttexan.us http://redrockettattoo.com
holy crap! I don't think I've ever seen such straight lines on a tattoo in my life! Maybe my guy always has the shakes or something.
This is a little piece from a set of flash that my buddy and neighbor did for my Five Year Anniversary Celebration this saturday. Here's a teaser of the flash sheet: If you're in the neighborhood stop by. If you make a purchase at Ultra Pop! that day and bring the receipt over to him he will deduct up to 50% off your tattoo!
It might be. I brought a few lettering samples of that kinda graffiti style, and he drew them on by hand. Actually only the blaster was a stencil, the flowers and banners were all freehand.
Sorry, maybe someone can ID him. Found him in one of my Japanese yokai books. I have a feeling he may be one of the lesser yokai. I just like the running position he is in and the staff with the flowing banners
Tons of great work in this thread! Here's my current project : Yeah, I'm out of shape, I know . Hoping to have this finished by October.
Thanks! It was done by Mike Barker at Jackson Street Tattoo in Seattle. Dude is awesome! His Japanese work is phenomenal. He has done all my tattoos.
