why yes they are... cool resin project from a super nice guy named Shibori on the "other board" space+invaders thank you brobles......!!!
Wow, I definitely might have to get myself some of those, even if it means braving 'that other site.'
I just randomly stumbled across his thread one day and was like.... yes.. please.. and thank you...!!!
My mixed Grodys in my classroom, had a purple and a blue, couldnt resist mixing them. The kids in my class are very interested in the new additions to the toy lineup. Its fun to teach them about toys, until I tell them theyre japanese then they become uninterested. Lol.
s' why you should tell them they were created by an American (luke) and made in Japan. might go down better with the kiddies?
I did, but any mention of japan, specially on korean independence day (today) doesnt get the best of responses.
Why would they not like Japanese toy- Oh.... Either way, cool toys. Hoping once I get the rest of my blanks in I can do a blue/purple combo as well.
Finally got all my Grodys together for a family shot. There are so many Grody products out there, but I am trying to limit what I add to keep the collection manageable. This is my collection so far (not on display at the moment - just no space for them): (And please ignore the dirty stepstool - I didn't realize the kids and cat made it so dirty until after seeing the photo ) (Strange - the top right figure does not really have such a pronounced white top part of the head - it just looks that way in the photo.)
some mashups of the shooting blanks and a KK this is the shipai I got with my medicom set when I first cracked it open my first thought was 'hey exposed vinyl time for a sniff" as I slowly draw the figure away from my face and reality sets in I think to myself "damn luke just tricked me into sniffing a dick"
A little hectic, and mixed with a few other things I've started collecting (killers, Ilu Ilu), but the collection is coming along nicely. Just need a baphomet and/or f'ing harumph....
