my cheat sheet does not have wholesale listings on pricing for the vintage line so I will need to double check that, but I expect it to be roughly 40%-50% of the retail pricing, if we can get the majority of an item accounted for i.e. you need to buy 12 so if we can get 8-10 spoken for we can swing it and the rest can go on the shelves
Surprisingly I have been finding Walmart and Target to have some of the better stuff decoration wise the past few years. The actual seasonal Halloween shops usually suck, Spirit is the absolute worst, whats up with the zombie babies? So this is the one time of year I actually go to Walmart haha. Walmart puts out these holographic light up window pieces that I pick up every year, pretty awesome.
I haven't walked into a walmart in years so no idea on what they have but target is balls this year and from the way the racks are set up it does not look like much else is going up, cvs also is blah this year, have not hit walgreens though, you would be surprised you can find some gems at the drug store
I agree with the walgreens sentiment! Total five and dime store gems in there! Target & Walmart have been the worst. Spirit isn't great either, but last year we did get this and he's been up year round in the monster room! http://www.spirithalloween.com/product/ ... nkenstein/
I some some insane animated vampire figures at Walgreens a few days ago. They were sort of obnoxious actually but they totally cracked me up. Lucky supermarket has some tiki-esque skull, pumpkin, and Frankenstein mugs but nothing spectacular. Stacks of Count Chocula and Frankenberry cereal next to the decorations and candy of course.
Target had an interesting collection of evil doctor's office looking stuff, like 1890's poison bottles, steel trays...all of it in the bathroom section. They had a really cool skull/bat table cloth I wanted to get, but have no use for...

Halloween stuff! I got these guys from Hobby Lobby this year. Also random as it sounds Ross Dress for Less and TJ Maxx get some cool vintage looking stuff from time to time. I haven't seen that much in the craft stores this year but Target has some paper garlands and wreaths that are pretty neat. If you're near ABQ of course there's Stranger Factory they have some awesome stuff (Halloween and toys all in one place!)

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 29390.html "Dr Best has discovered 90 cases of alleged poisoning reported by newspapers or hospitals since 1958 but he says that none can be attributed to random attempts to harm kids. Most are pranks by children seeking attention; some are murkier attempts by parents to gain compensation. The most famous case was that of Ronald Clark O'Bryan, dubbed the Candyman, who in the mid-1970s reported that his eight-year-old son had been killed by a cyanide-laced Pixie Stix bar while trick-or-treating near his Texas home. Police later discovered that Mr O'Bryan had taken out a $20,000 insurance policy on his son's life. In a case that garnered international attention, he was convicted of murdering the child, and executed by lethal injection." Always thought the neighborhood paranoia of home-made treats reeked of bullshit. Seems like such a '70s thing to do anyway.

Happy Halloween!! This video card is NSFW (1 shot of some boobies and some language) Alex and my mutual friend Joseph made this back in 2005. I think it holds up every year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb7A2V5ZqIE
Got up at 5 am to do my wifes makeup for her work costume contest. Looks much better in person, the iphone pic just doesn't do it justice.
