super awesome! Congrats Peter! Super great of Gargamel to do this! Im hoping to grab one just to support. Also a kind of PK to help out too!
Wow. Awesome display of good will by Gargamel. And check out Paul Kaiju throwing down some heavy vinyl! Serious generosity on display.
Paul you are a very noble person, it's a nice gesture of you. Good luck Peter! I join this good cause.
I won't be able to make it to the con but I'll gladly pay $30 for a virtual version and for a great cause...just give me a Paypal addy! Pete is an OG member and when I first joined back in 2006 he was incredibly gracious and kind in welcoming me to the SB board and I'll never forget it! Pete rules! You'll be in my thoughts Pete, get better soon!
Hey, put me on the list to buy one if there is an extra after the con. Cool toy, great cause! Stay strong, sir!
I was stoked to see this finally happen - Pete is an awesome dude who doesnt deserve the luck he's had. But he does deserve the good friends he has - and something cool like this. He's also a model of how a person can bounce back from some of the hardest of times. Make sure to stop by the Uh-Oh Toys booth to pick up a zag and say Hi! These look so cool in person!
Best wishes Pete, What a rad deal we got going on here!!!!!! Some serious rad folks!!!!!! Here These toys look great, and the purpose makes them that much more appealing!!!! Congrats!
Whether there's an extra figure or not, please pm me your paypal addy - I'd love to donate. After being diagnosed with cancer myself two years ago (now in complete remission) several people on this board helped by either contributing to my g/f's fund raising campaign or just sending a very thoughtful kaiju gift (Gargamel, Brian Flynn and Chris of Grumble Toys in particular). Great people and a great community so I'm very happy to return the favor Pete.
Hey Pete.....is there any room on the table for people to bring things we can display and sell with all the proceeds going to you and CSC?
A sale can be started here but I really want to just get funds directly to Pete without any fuss or delay. If the booth can save a little space for people to just leave stuff there with a price tag that would be as easy and quick as possible.
Well, funds can be sent to his paypal address. And when he confirms reception of funds the items can be shipped. Might get messy... But can be done.
wow... this is such an awesome, surreal experience. thank you PK, for the salamander joe's. every time i gawk at the photo, it leaves me speechless. my mind is completely blown. thank you, Henry. there's a gang of people sharing the uh-oh table, so space will be tight (uh-oh!). but i'll see if we can figure something out. ElvisFromHell, i'm super stoked for you and your family!! thank you everyone, for all the support. i feel ridiculously lucky. just so everyone knows, i'm doing fine. it's been 2 years since my amputation and i've been getting clear scans (i have another one soon, which always makes me nervous). i am super grateful for my insurance, but it's been a struggle to pay the premiums and deductibles etc. after digging myself into a hole over the past four years. if anyone wishes to donate, here's my paypal info: nexusnebula@gmail.com if anyone wishes to donate a toy for sale, feel free to pm me.
What a touching story, man! Life is precious and I can see you cherish every single day of it... I send you my best wishes for TONS of success, Pete! \ /
Picked mine up today from Pete. Great guy and was a pleasure to meet him (you)! Your booth partner however... I don't know about him. He seemed kinda squirly and he had a funny accent. Sounded Australian
