Agreed! The DS was actually a really great one! I have 25 games myself. But I noticed that the greatest games are the ones that don't really put the main focus on the touch screen. All developers should stop focusing on peripherals and focus on the how fun the game will be or giving a great story. I actually only gave in to the Wii because of Mario Kart and Smash Bros. I'm not getting suckered into buying a Wii U.
Monster Hunter made me cave to the Wiii U like a house of cards. I literally ran to my GameStop once the pre-orders went live. I'm not proud of this.
I must admit that the Platinum exclusives on Wii U are very tempting. I haven't preordered or anything but considering I have a Wii catching dust I might as well think about updating the hardware, The Wonderful 101 + Monster Hunter are pretty much system sellers for me.
I was in Gamestop yesterday and they had a Wii-U on display, with this awesome HD TV set-up. Rayman was playable. Won't lie, I was impressed. Actually, REALLY impressed. But they need to keep the games going, and the quality. It still a strange gimmick, but its freaking slick. And the controller in comfortable.
That makes me happy! I was worried about that poor thing :/ still am in all honesty. Im sure it rules but kids these days only like Xbox and Playstation...
I downloaded The Denpa Men last night, along side with Liberation Maiden and NightSky for the 3DS. The Denpa Men is super fun. Almost like a cross between Pikmin and Dragon Quest. Highly charming. Liberation Maiden is nice, well produce and high quality, but its a bit awkward on controls. Though, isn't every Suda51 game like that? Overall, after completing the 1 stage, I was pretty satisfied and impress for this downloadable. Great action and graphics, with nice production on voice acting and such.
I've been checking out the Telltale version of the Walking Dead game for months now via YouTube. Now that they are going to release all 5 episodes at once Dec 5th I might get it or buy the season pass on ps3. That way I won't jones for the next episode if I like it. Just downloaded the demo. Anyone else been playing it?
its funny that the argument against Linux usually includes "there are no games" yet Android is Linux based and has tons of games. Unfortunately the reality is that most Android users are more savvy when it comes to pirating (more so than xbox/ps3 console players & iOS users) so the motivation to make Android ports is never based on profit and sometimes entirely absent.
Dark Souls DLC. Argh, eff this Sanctuary Guardian . . . I tried about 20 times and maybe got him down to 50% once . . .
Ha, I need to get back to Dark Souls... just finished Dishonored which I enjoyed and now back to Borderlands 2 as I had already started playing it... but next in the queue is definitely Astoria!!
In case you didn't know, Target is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on video games and it is cross platform. Sale ends on the 3rd of November. I just wish there were three games out that I want to play that I didn't already have.
I am, just started again because my city was erased in the early days of the game. Treehouse of Horrors update is sweeeeeet. ill add you so i can egg your buildings
I did but erased it quickly. It's just another builder but when you play with the sound off, it gets very boring very quickly. Playing My Singing Monsters and Gizmonauts (a Dragonvale clone, same producers). Mindless fun. Plus the music on MSM is great and my kids love it!
I got Borderlands 2 a few weeks ago. It's really good, one of the best FPS I've ever played. Perfect blend of sci fi & regular type weapons & enemies. I usually hate games w sci fi weapons, like Halo I'm not a huge fan of but this game is really cool. SLAVEXONER on PSN if anybody wants to play send an invite
