Joe hit the nail on the head. A fried egg on a cheeseburger is one of the greatest things ever invented. Yes, invented!

I'll admit here I really only like pizza straight out of the refrigerator. Not sure when or why this started exactly, but I'll even take a hot slice out of the box among family or friends and pop it in the freezer to get it to my temp "zone."

Also, bad pizza can be VERY, VERY bad: Pizza Hut, ChuckECheese, school lunch, etc.

Methinks memories of school lunch pizza is what makes the idea of giving up hamburgers impossible.

what a ridiculous thread...that pulled me right in.

im probably in the minority here but i love terrible pizza as well. school pizza- the pizza with the square chunks of pepperoni- i love it. i love chuck e cheese pizza. used to go with my friends and play the xmen cabinet and eat pizza. i love cicis pizza. i love pizza hut stuffed crust pizza. i love frozen pizza with the shitty stuffed crust. red baron, tonys, totinos, you name it. i also love brick oven gourmet pizza, and when i was in italy for two weeks i ate pizza for every meal (dont worry, the other times i was in italy i ate other things)

    pizza is the best

Yeah, for sure - even bad pizza has its place. (I generally keep a Totino's or two in my freezer.) Except Digiorno's - that shit just plain sucks. "It's not take-out, it's Digiorno's" my ass! I don't think I've ever had a hamburger that is to hamburgers as Digiorno's is to pizza.

what about McDonalds hamburgers? I'd take frozen White (explosive diarrhea) Castle Burgers over a McDonalds one. They're pretty deplorable.

    Bad pizza = edible.

I'll b*tch to the gods about a bad pizza while I eat the sh*t out of it. and if I had the option of eating a juicy hamburger instead...well I would still finish the pizza, THEN eat the hamburger. not the other way around though.

What about McDonald's pizza? I haven't been to McDs in years, but I swear they used to put crack in those puppies. If you didn't live in a place where there is a cheap slice available (i.e. urban area), this was the ticket. Their personal pies were some great crap pizza. But then, I can't think of anyone else who liked them..... (and so they went away)

Well to be honest, I've never had a McD's HAMBURGER. But a McD's CHEESEBURGER is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY more edible than a Digiorno's pizza.

There was/is such a thing?!? I can't imagine it tasting nastier than a McD's burger. As far as digiorno, i've tasted worse pizza before. My only gripe with it is the stupid dough (it's got this weird sweet taste sometimes)

    edit.

I love Mcdonalds, because in Korea Mcdonalds (and most burger joints) delivers, for free and at any time of the day.

Pizza joints usually close at 9~10. So for ease of access and lazy factor, burgers still win for me.

Bad Pizza > Bad Burgers. I'll eat a bad pizza and be like "meh, it's ok, it's still pizza" but a bad burger? I'll spit it out.

Worst pizza ever? Imo's Pizza in St. Louis. I still ate that shit. Provell, yuck! Even worse then the pizza on Denny's kids menu.

I have a secret love for the Hut though. Even growing up in Chicago, Pizza Hut sucked me in. It brings me back to Ninja Rap and the Bartman and Book It!

I have to comment in this a little bit too. When we're talking about pizza we're talking American Pizza & Burgers right? Because while in Spain this summer I tried their version of American Style Pizza and a Burger just for shits and giggles. Both were absolutely disgusting! Pizza tasted like stale bread with old american cheese melted on top, and the burger tasted like a rubber sausage link that was uncooked. I threw both out.

I used to love McDonald's pizza! Used to go to McDonald's with my grandparents and sister when they were still around. Pizza Happy Meal with a chocolate shake. Good memories :)

You want to hear something shittier? Over here, they put yellow corn on all the pizzas. Sometimes it will be some tasty stuff, like pepperoni and meatballs and some meat (galbi usually) and then they do a checkered pattern on top of it with BBQ sauce and some mayo to top it off, gross. Other times, there's a ring of sweet potato just in front of the crust and it is impossible to remove or it pulls the cheese and toppings with it, like some table-cloth-pulling jerk. Oh yeah, you get pickles with all the orders, "great pickles!" you think, wrong, they are sweet pickles. The shittiest, sweetest, pickles you will ever eat. They combine sweet and sour in the most disgusting, 5-year-old ways.

Oh yeah, burgers all the way. At least BK, McDs and Subway still taste the same (good or bad, however you feel about it) everywhere.

One of the first sentences I learned how to say in Korean was "no corn, please".
