Wasn't that the best episode ever? Some of the best tv I've seen, definitely... And to think of what's still coming! I'm tingling.
Theon does deserve it though, doesn't he? I love Brienne of Tarth . . . . that 'pep-talk' she gave Jaime Lannister was hilarious! Daenerys Targaryen's story is getting better and better too
^^^ I like the fact the whole time he was insulting Daenerys in that language, she could understand every word and was planning his demise.
Yes an no. I think he regarded the Starks as his true family until his long forgotten Dad and Sister (and that assturd who knocked him out and the end of last season with a pike) kept riding him about being Iron Born etc etc. Then again he did kill that one Stark ally (guy with the white porkchop sideburns whose name escapes me)
Yeah in the book you know from the start she understands him, but here her "It's my mother tongue" was delivered with such... vengeance, it was one of the best lines of the show.
So I finally (finally!!) catch up with this one too (same thing happened to me with TWD)! I'm really enjoying it, although my girlfriend is always complaining about it (but never seems to miss an episode ). I think this season is really building up to something good. And the series has proven that there's no one safe, and I like that. So many stories to follow and most of them exciting. I'm liking how margery is playing Joffrey, and I'm very interested in Daenerys' story. Kind of bummed about what seems to have happened to Tyrion and Cersis (what's her name?), they seem to have lost personality and strength. So who could that guy playing with Theon be?
^^^ When I was re-watching seasons 1 & 2 I'd catch my g/f checking the show out but the moment I tried to explain anything I'd get a: "I don't fucking care!" I think she secretly likes the show but can't admit it. And yes Aldo unlike WD where no one is safe also, you actually care when someone on GOT dies or is killed! WD someone dies and you're like "Who?" or "Yeah that character was annoying anyhow!"
Right! GoT they have built the characters the right way. I Know my g/f enjoys it, she wont let me watch them on my own... she just likes to give me a hard time about how it's all about intrigue and not about battles. She says it's because they don't have a budget.

Except I didn't like the hunger games book but did enjoy the movie. And... (you can kill be for this) I like a lot more the TLOTR's movies than the books.
You guys are gross for liking the lots movies more than the books but that's neither here nor there- I loved that they took Jamie lannisters hand! Arrogant bastard that he is, and this week I was so. Fucking. Happy. That the night watch killed that creepy guy with all the daughters and Sam got away with the girl and little boy.
Loved episode 5. Spoiler The Hound victorious! . . . and Tywin Lannister taking his family in hand. Cersei's smugness towards Tyrion turning quickly to indignation about her proposed marriage was priceless. I wonder if one or both of them will now plot to kill their father . . . ??
This past episode- ehh. Seems like they have way to many story lines going on this season but none of them are getting very far. Also with Robb making Edmure marry one of Frey's daughters, does this mean no- Spoiler red wedding for Robb?

Joffrey really, really needs to be assassinated by someone. Evil little shit. Spoiler Nice to see Arya’s future has plenty of revenge in store as predicted by Melisandre. Jon and Ygritte's death defying wall-climb was great too.
Totally. I haven't read the books (yet) so I'm hoping for a great, terrifying death for Joffrey somewhere down the line.
