I grew up in Charlotte, NC and so I used to see Prayer play all the time. Still love this record and listen to it pretty regularly myself
That's lucky as hell, man. I would have loved to see Prayer just once. My old band in the mid 2000's used to cover Sonnet. Those were fun times. I still frequent this and The Tragedy quite a bit.
New Skinny Puppy is so unbelievably old school that I can't wait upon release day to throw money in their face ! Listen to the new album entirely here http://www.revolvermag.com/news/exclusi ... eapon.html
Wow. I haven't listened to Skinny Puppy since my junior year. My favorite was always Too Dark Park. Can't wait to give this a listen.
Today: Municipal Waste - Hazardous Mutation, Sabaton - Coat of Arms, Sons Of Liberty - Spirit of Times EP I'm going to the flea market to get some tacos. BAM!
and now for something completely different http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPdXtPP0iRM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WPkfGd1q-s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK5AohCM ... 7X_UNkSwUw ...even if you're not a "religious" person, the music is very beautiful. Henry and Emma sit perfectly still when listening
Just got through listening to Tricky's new album "False Idols" for the second time. Good stuff, classic Tricky/early Massive Attack sort of sound. Let it not be said that Trip Hop is dead!
It's one of those albums that really grows on you with each listen, don't you think? So many things to explore in each song. I listen to it daily.
