This is just sad that the majority of the people's pop culture experiances start in the 80s. Eyeballs gave been used in popular culture art for many moons before the mad balls came out.
LOL...It's just really silly. Skullheadbutt have already done other Madball themed figures. The absurd paranoia is funny...
So I'm familiar with the bottom two designs. Is the skull one a reference to anything? Or maybe just another ripoff of a ripoff? I actually like the mugwump. I don't think I'll get it, but that is one of my all time favorite movies and one of Cronenberg's best.
I always wonder who created Skull Head Butt. Just didn't expect it to be Genshou Sato of Target Earth who apparently is also the second maker for Wombat Toys. Busy guy.
That's a cool bit of information. Thanks for sharing. It makes perfect sense. There is a fair amount of stylistic overlap between all three and SHB and Wombat have crossed over before.

Me likey the new head sculpt, much more than the (kinda, sorta) similar Black Lagoon homage that TE did. The body fits this new head nicely. Overall I have been real impressed the quality of SHB figs in hand, they just need some new body sculpts to freshen things up a bit at this point.
Mishka also invented my pet monster, boglins, cyclops, Mr. T, the word death, E.T. and countless other things you have thought were awesome forever. They were down with shit like way before you even knew about it too, your all just fucking losers anyway. Also their fans are way not posers AT ALL, I've never had like a ten minute conversation about how awesome RASPUTIN is just making up song titles to a kid sporting one of their tees. Original motherfuckers, get the wool off your eyes. Can we get an ETA on how long it took to paint the eye on the SHB though, I want to know if it's worth paying 1k or not.
What an awesome rant! 18 year olds don't know bout madballz so you can re-use/re-cycle/re-duce SHB is just ballz out good.
Venus-X sure turned out nice. The green version was my personal favorite... It's a shame that Paramount didn't go with the version Ray pitched to them. I like aspects of the George Pal film but it lacked some of my favorite parts of the book(Tripods, red fungus and alien octopi design).
Love the green Venus X and the Hawaiian paint job is an absolute stunner. I was so sick of seeing those colors together until I saw this.
